To make a decision whether Adsense is the best choice for monetizing your site you must first understand how Adsense works.
The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull advertisements from the Adsense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.
The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of advertisers in the program from which the search engine pulls the Adsense ads. Also webmasters are less concerned by the lack of information search engines are providing and are more focused in making cash from these search engines.
The first reason why Adsense is essential for content sites is because it already has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Together with its continuous progression is the appearance of more advanced system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters are given the chance to choose from many different types of text ad formats to better complement their website and fit their webpage layout.
The different formatting enables the site owners the possibility of more click through from visitors who may or may not be aware of what they are clicking on. It can also appeal to the people visiting thus make them take that next step of looking up what it is all about. This way the people behind the Adsense will get their content read and making profit in the process.
The second reason is the ability of
the Adsense publishers to track not only how their sites are progressing but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters the capability to monitor how their ads are performing using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.
With the real-time reporting at hand, the effectiveness of the changes made will be assessed quickly. There would be time to sort out the contents that people are making the most clicks on. The ever-changing demands would be met while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers. The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing best.
The last and final reason is that the advertisers have realized the benefits associated having their ads served on targeted websites. Thus increasing the possibility that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product and services. All because of the content and its constant maintenance. As opposed to those who are no using Adsense in their sites, they are given the option of having other people do their content for them, giving them the benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.
Adsense is all about targeted content, the more targeted your content is, the more target the search engines ads will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are focused more on their site contents and how best to maintain them rather than the cash that the ads will generate for them. This is the part where the effectiveness is working its best.
There was a time when people were not yet aware of the money to be achieved from advertisements. The cash generated only came into existence when the webmasters and publishers realized how they can make Adsense be that generator. In those days, the content were the most important factors that is taken quite seriously. It still is. With the allure of money, of course.

A baut my, Monday, June 29, 2009When you are first starting out your blog there are always a few new tricks to learn to help things run a big more smooth. If you still haven't picked up on googles Adsense yet, it isn't too late to get with it and start taking advantage of the many benefits that they can offer you. When you start doing a little research about them, you will discover that the benefits are large and great.
When you use Adsense on your blog, Google will place the ads on there that are the most relevant to your content. This is a very simple way to get good advertising but without all the hard work. If you seem to have quite the array of topics on your blog, don't worry. Adsense will find the right advertisements for each topic. Because they have so many different advertisements to choose from, they should have no problem finding the right ads for all of your different topics.
If this is your very first blog, Adsense is a good option because it cuts out a lot of the dirty work. You can set up an Adsense on your blog in just a few minutes and start the profit. And after you get the hang of it, it will be easier and easier to deal with. Sometimes you don't even know where to start when it comes to advertisers but with Adsense, you don't have to worry about all that.
Another benefit of Adsense is that you really have nothing to worry about. You set it up and then let it do what it does. You won't have to worry about maintenance problems, or adapting to all of your topics. You should probably pay attention to these details, but you definitely do not have to. This way you don't have to go out and find advertisers and try to get them to put ads on your blog. Adsense does all the dirty work for you and it takes only a few moments to get it up and running.
When you put Adsense on your page, they do have several different layouts that you can use that will fit your page and meet all your needs. If you need to make changes with your blogs layout, Adsense is really easy to work with. They are also flexible about letting you have other advertisements on the same page. They used to have a few regulations about this a while ago, but they have since changed those.
Another benefit to consider is that when you use Adsense on your blog, you have a guaranteed paycheck that comes to you from Google. This may be a huge benefit for some who have had problems in the past with advertisers. There are many more benefits than these, but it all depends on the blog and what you are looking for. If you do a little research and try it out for a while, you will be able to tell whether or not Adsense really works for you.

How To Pick Internet Business Keywords For Top AdSense Online Income
A baut my, Sunday, June 28, 2009When the target is to select top paying keywords the CPC is the first thing: the higher CPC, the more you will earn with the AdSense ads.
CPC ( cost per click ) is the maximum an advertiser is willing to pay for one click, but CPC is only one factor in the formula and many others are as important ones.
1.CPC Considerations.
If there are zero bidders on the keyword of high CPC, it means no one is bidding your internet home based business opportunity keyword.
If Google gets lots of traffic on your internet home business keyword, which satisfies the needs of high bidding advertisers, Google will throw the remaining peanuts to you.
2.Number Of Internet Business Advertisers Is The Most Important Figure.
I have found out that the top paying keywords are very often low demand keywords and this means that your internet business opportunity gets zero clicks with these keywords.
What shall Google do in this case? It directs the related keyword ads to your internet home based business site and you have no idea of CPC nor the conversion rate. In this case your online income opportunity is fully open.
This is the reason to look the number of advertisers, bidders, of the internet home business keywords, which you will select.
A big number of bidders means the higher competition to get the top position, which means better chances for your internet business opportunity to earn with AdSense.
4.The Internet Home Based Business Keyword Must Have Lots Of Estimated Clicks.
We have to avoid keywords with low number of estimated bidders and clicks for the # 1 position on the Google result page.
If the number of clicks per month is lower than expected but the number of bidders is high, that`s the right keyword for your internet home business opportunity.
These keywords are called niche keywords and Google cannot send traffic for these ads, so it will share high paying ads for your internet home business site.
5.AdWords Ads Are Sold By The Real Time Auction.
Let`s take an example and suppose there are 350 bidders for the keyword internet business. The top 15 are bidding $ 12 per click and the rest 335 between 0.06 and 1.50.
Now if you research only the top 5 bids, that is not enough. You have a high possibility to get the ads from those 335 bidders and you know the result for the online income of your internet
business opportunity!
6.Select Niche Keywords.
These are ideal for the internet home based business because they are highly searched but rarely used by the competitors. It is better to target some internet business niche keywords than to highly competitive ones.Traffic from these niche keywords when directed to a relevant page increases your conversion rate.
7.Who Are The Competitors Of Your Internet Home Business Opportunity?
If you type your internet home business keyword into Google and research the result page, you will get the number of this keyword on all pages of that result, but they all are not your competitors.
The search engine result pages get irrelevant after 10 pages. Irrelevancy further increases the more deeper you go. The pages that use keyword spamming are not competing against you, but against search engines to get high ranking and traffic.
8.The Exact Number Of Competing Pages.
In Google you can easily find out the pages, which compete with the same keyword by checking if they use the internet business opportunity keyword in the title and as an anchor texts linking to them.
Make a query as follows: intitle:keyword inanchor:keyword. As an example, if the keyword is internet business, write it as follows: intitle:internet inanchor:internet intitle:business inanchor:business.
The result gives you an exact number of pages that are actually targeting with these two keywords, and not those that have just created a page or a small piece of copy on the same topic. Google favors anchors and page titles. That's the reason, it supports such a search query.
If you pick the keyword for your internet business opportunity, which has high number of estimated searches compared the number of actual competitors, the results will be good.
9.Your Internet Home Business Opportunity Keyword`s Traffic Estimate.
The traffic estimate is very important, when you ponder, around which keyword your AdSense page will be optimized. So which tool is the most effective? There are two good traffic estimators: Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool and WordTracker.
Thinking about AdSense online income, Overture gives a more accurate stats, because Overture is PPC engine and WordTracker monitors queries from meta search engines, which is good information for niche building.
10.A Summary For The Reader.
The profitability of the internet home busines keyword depends more on the number of bidders than CPC. The number of clicks and the bidding quality must be calculated as an average of all bidders, who bid that particular keyword.

9 Google Adsense Tips To Make More Money Everyday
A baut my, Saturday, June 27, 2009Do you want to make more money in your home business. If you sell stuff online one program that does pay pretty good, is easy to implement, and pays on time is Google Adsense.
In this article we will look at how to make more money than you currently are and how to do it with Google's pay per click advertising program.
1. First of all you need to read the program policies and procedures. Google is very strict as to what they will and will not allow you to do when you are placing ads on your website. Be sure and do it right the first time and save you grief down the road.
2. Locate your ads in the hot spot of your website. This means above the fold and as close to the upper left hand corner as possible. The reason is very simple. To get people to click on your ads they need to be seen.
3. Use the rectangle 336 X 280 ad in your premium spot. This is the most popular ad and will earn you the most money.
4. To make more money everyday with Google you want to limit the number of Google Adsense ads to 3 or less per page. The more ads you have on a page the less they begin to pay. It benefits both you and Google to have the highest paying ads showing up on your page.
5. You want to blend your ads into the page. People have become blind to ads on the internet. They just do not care about them. By blending your ads into the page you've a better chance to get them clicked on. This may mean using a white border.
6. When you surf the internet what color are you used to seeing links. Blue! Keep
your links blue and people will be more apt to naturally click on them because that is what they are clicking on all day long.
7. Google offers some really neat features for tracking and one of them is channels. If you have more than one ad unit per page, you can set up a channel for each unit. Again you are better off to stay at less than 3 ads per page. Channels let you know what ads are working best.
8. Check your stats periodically. You want to see your click through rate and your cost per click. By knowing how many visitors it takes to get a click and how much you are making per click you can decide if having a Google Ad on that page is worth it or not.
9. Make sure the ads that are coming up are relevant to the page. If not consider if you have content that is bad, or if your meta tags are set up wrong. Maybe even your header graphic has a bad alt tag.
Google Adsense is definitely one way to make more money everyday on the internet. If you do it right it can help your business as well.
Making money with Pay Per Click advertising is not just limited to Google. I wanted to quickly mention that many ppc companies have affiliate programs that pay you for placing ads on your site.
Some of the more popular ones include Bidvertiser, 7Search, SearchFeed, and Yahoo Marketing. Each one have their own rules and regulations so be sure and know them before you go placing ads on your site. Google themselves will not let you place similar ads on a page with their ads so be careful.
The fastest and easiest way to make money online is to get paid for a click. This article should give you some ideas on how to do that.

3 Reasons Why Adsense Is Essential For Content Sites
A baut my, Friday, June 26, 2009To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is to know first how this works.
The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Are You Aware Of Adsense Click Fraud?
A baut my, Thursday, June 25, 2009Many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.
Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it.
It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it.
Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.
How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?
Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.
It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free.
As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it.
Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.
You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid
Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.
Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.
Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for.
Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.
If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.
Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browsers information, users session info and pattern recognition. They also have systems available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds.
Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. Using negative keywords can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours. Adding tracking URLs to your links so you can track the traffic coming from Google.
Do not be caught in the Google click fraud. Be aware and be wary.

Powerful Ways To Improve Your Adsense Earnings
A baut my, Wednesday, June 24, 2009If webmasters want to monetize their websites, the great way to do it is through Adsense. There are lots of webmasters struggling hard to earn some good money a day through their sites. But then some of the geniuses of them are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from Adsense ads on their websites. What makes these webmasters different from the other kind is that they are different and they think out of the box.
The ones who have been there and done it have quite some useful tips to help those who would want to venture into this field. Some of these tips have boosted quite a lot of earnings in the past and is continuously doing so.
Here are some 5 proven ways on how best to improve your Adsense earnings.
1. Concentrating on one format of Adsense ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format have the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.
2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.
3. Remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Do not try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed
how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.
4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.
5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as adsense text, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.
These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. It is important to know though that ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that persons will be viewing already.
Note also that there are many other Adsense sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a good ad that will be somewhat different and unique than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will definitely click on.
Tips given by those who have boosted their earnings are just guidelines they want to share with others. If they have somehow worked wonders to some, maybe it can work wonders for you too. Try them out into your ads and see the result it will bring.
If others have done it, there is nothing wrong trying it out for yourself.

How To Start Making Money With Adsense
A baut my, Tuesday, June 23, 2009Adsense is considered as one of the most powerful tool in a website publishers arsenal. It enables a person to monetize their sites easily. If used properly, it can generate a very large and healthy income for them. However if you are not using them rightly and just maximizing the income you squeeze from it, you are actually leaving a lot of money on the table. Something all people hate doing.
How you can start earning money with Adsense can be done easily and quickly. You will be amazed at the results you will be getting in such a short period of time.
Start by writing some quality content articles which are also keyword incorporated. There are a lot of people given the gift of being good with words. Writing comes easy for them. Why not make it work in such a way that you will be earning some extra cash in the process.
There are actually three steps to put into mind before you begin writing your ads and having an effective Adsense.
Keyword search. Find some popular subjects, keywords or phrase. Select the ones which you think has more people clicking through. This is actually a keyword selector and suggestion tool that some sites are offering to those who are just their Adsense business.
Writing articles. Start writing original content with keywords from the topics that you have achieved in your search. Take note that search engines are taking pride in the quality of their articles and what you will be writing should keep up with their demands.
Quality content site. Build a quality content site incorporated with Adsense ads that is targeting the subject and keywords of your articles and websites. This is where all that you have done initially will go to and this is also where they will prove their worth to you.
The proper positioning of your ads should be done with care. Try to position your ads where surfers are most likely to click on them. According to research, the one place
that surfers look first when they visit a certain site is the top left. The reason behind this is not known. Maybe it is because some of the most useful search engine results are at the top of all other rankings. So visitors tend to look in that same place when browsing through other sites.
Some of those who are just starting at this business may think they are doing pretty well already and thinking that their clickthrough rates and CPM figures are quite healthy. However, there are more techniques and styles to generate more clicks to double your earnings. By knowing these techniques and working them to your advantage, you will realize that you will be getting three times more than other people who have been previously doing what they are doing.
Finally, Adsense has some excellent tracking statistics that allows webmasters and publishers to track their results across a number of site on a site by site, page by page, or any other basis you wanted. You should be aware oft his capability and make the most of it because it is one powerful tool that will help you find out which ads are performing best. This way, you can fine tune your Adsense ads and focus more on the ones being visited the most rather than those who are being ignored.
Another thing you should know. Banners and skyscrapers are dead. Ask the experts. So better forget about banners and skyscrapers. Surfers universally ignore these kinds of ad formats. The reason behind this is that they are recognized as an advert and advert are rarely of any interest thats why people ignore them.
To really start making money with Adsense, you should have a definite focus on what you wanted to achieve and how you will go about achieving them. As with any other kind of business ventures, time is needed coupled with patience.
Do not just ignore your site and your Adsense once you have finished accomplishing them. Spare some time, even an hour, making adjustments to the Adsense ads on your sites to quickly trigger your Adsense income.
Give it a try and you would not regret having gotten into Adsense in the first place.

My Adsense Account Has Been Terminated. Yours Too?
A baut my, Monday, June 22, 2009Google, being the undisputable leader in search engines from then until now, is placing a high importance on the quality and relevancy of its search engines. Most especially now that the company is public property. In order to keep the shareholders and users of its engines happy, the quality of the returned results are given extreme importance.
For this same reason, doing the wrong things in the Adsense and other forms of advertisements, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will result in a severe penalty, may get you banned and even have your account terminated. Nothing like a good action taken to keep wrongdoers from doing the same things over again.
So for those who are thinking of getting a career in Adsense, do not just think of the strategies you will be using to generate more earnings. Consider some things first before you actually get involved.
Hidden texts:
Filling your advertisement page with texts to small to read, has the same color as the background and using css for the sole purpose of loading them with rich keywords content and copy will earn you a penalty award that is given to those who are hiding links.
Page cloaking:
There is a common practice of using browser or bot sniffers to serve the bots of a different page other than the page your visitors will see. Loading a page with a bot that a human user will never see is a definite no-no. This is tricking them to click on something that you want but they may not want to go to.
Multiple submissions:
Submitting multiple copies of your domain and pages is another thing to stay away from. For example, trying to submit a URL of an Adsense as two separate URLs is the same as inviting trouble and even termination. Likewise, this is a reason to avoid auto submitters for those who are receiving submissions. Better check first if your domain is submitted already an a certain search engine before you try
to submit to it again. If you see it there, then move on. No point contemplating whether to try and submit there again.
Link farms:
Be wary of who and what are you linking your Adsense to. The search engines know that you cannot control your links in. But you can certainly control what you link to. Link farming has always been a rotten apple in the eyes of search engines, especially Google. That is reason enough to try and avoid them. Having a link higher than 100 on a single page will classify you as a link farm so try and not to make them higher than that.
Page rank for sale:
If you have been online for quite some time, you will notice that there are some sites selling their PR links or trading them with other sites. If you are doing this, expect a ban anytime in the future. It is okay to sell ads or gain the link. But doing it on direct advertisement of your page rank is a way to get on search engines bad side.
Doorways:
This is similar to cloaking pages. The common practice of a page loaded with choice keyword ads aimed at redirecting visitors to another user-friendly page is a big issue among search engines. There are many seo firms offering this kind of services. Now that you know what they actually are, try to avoid them at all costs.
Multiple domains having the same content:
In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domains IPs, registry dates and many others. Having multiple domains having the same exact content is not something you can hide from them. The same goes with content multiplied many times on separate pages, sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to the same content.
Many of the above techniques apply to most search engines and is not entirely for Google only. By having a mind set that you are building your Adsense together with your pages for the human users and not for bots, you can be assured of the great things for your ads and sites.
Not to mention avoiding the wrath of the search engines and getting your Adsense and site account terminated altogether.

The # 1 Way To Earn Massive Checks From Google AdSense
A baut my, Sunday, June 21, 2009Before proceeding further, I would like to mention that whatever you are about to read might not appeal to some people. But you have to ask yourself "Do I really want to earn from adsense or do I want to be one of the countless many who are lying in the adsense grave?".
If you decide that you want to be an adsense winner, then welcome to the club! I can tell you that what you will read will help you make a killing with adsense.
When I started my adsense business, I had only 1 site - and that site paid me just a few cents every day. I cried, wailed, but Google didn't even notice me. I cried again the next week, and the week after that, but there was no change in my adsense earning! Looking at my income, I felt no better than a beggar on the street, with just a few spare changes in his bowl.
Thankfully, I soon realized that it was foolish to depend on just 1 niche. I understood that I did not have the power to convert a low-paying niche into a high-paying one. But I did have the power to choose my niches. No one could stop me from that.
Most people complain that they are not making any money with adsense. When I ask them how many niches they're in or how many sites they have, the answer is usually 3-4.
You see, it is almost impossible to earn from adsense with just 1 site unless you get thousands of visitors every day. But i assume you do not have that kind of a traffic, right?
Otherwise you wouldn't have been reading this!
If you have just 1-2 niches, I can promise you with 100% confidence - you will not be happy looking at your adsense earnings! If you want to be a big player, you will have to diversify into hundreds of niches. Yes, there is a bit of work involved. But you have to consider this as a business. If you treat it like a business, it will pay you like a business.
If you decide to do this work yourself, it might take you 1-2 months or maybe 3 months. But its all worth it. Another better option is to outsource this work and have other people do it for you. Your outsourcing investment will be recovered soon, very soon. Trust me on this.
We have to focus on quantity and volume. We want to play in big numbers. Only that will take us towards the pearly gates of the "kingdom of adsense!"
You know, there is something really funny about niches. The way some niches work often defies logic. Niches that you think would be high paying may prove to be total disasters.
And niches
that seem to be hopeless, might turn out to be real winners. It really has nothing to do with competition. I always say that you can never be 100% sure about which niches would be profitable and which won't.
I have learned that if I go into 10 markets, there will be around 6 that will will be winners. So if I want 300 profitable sites, I need to make around 500 sites.
If you ask me, I feel this is much easier than searching "the best niches". out there. It is just like throwing enough stuff onto the wall and see what sticks.
Once I understood this basic truth, I spent the next few months, making hundreds of mini sites. In fact I created well over 500 sites. In order to keep Google happy, I had some decent content on each of my sites.
I drove traffic through my sites using pay-per-click, as that was the most convenient way of giving me instant results.
After regular testing and monitoring, I found that many of those sites were not paying me. I scrapped them, and concentrated on those that were good. And my adsense income has never been the same again.
I am also about to tell you something that might make some of you feel uneasy.
You must have heard that you should have lots of content on your site. "Content is king", right? But my views are a bit different here. If you want to build an adsense business, I think "content is not the king!"
Yes, you should have good content on your site, and you should also comply with Google's policies. But do not get overly obsessed with putting very high quality content on your adsense sites.
Here's why. We should not forget that our main aim is to make people click on our adsense ads. Our aim is NOT to provide our visitors everything that they are looking for. If we give them enough content, they will get everything they want and will not click on our adsense Ads.
If you put really good content on your sites, you will be left with happy visitors, and sad earnings. You decide what you want. I want happy earnings. What about you?
What I have outlined above is a fool-proof way from earning massive checks from adsense. The only thing that prevents you from earing $300 or even $500 a day in adSense is numbers.
Just rinse-and-repeat the process and get into as many number of niches as possible. Work smarter by outsourcing as much as possible.
The adsense business has got nothing to do with luck. It has got everything to do with volume.
As I said, this involves some work. But the effort you put in would give you excellent results. Armed with this knowledge you can almost dictate your adsense earnings.

12 Must-know Tips To Avoid Getting Banned From Google Adsense
A baut my, Saturday, June 20, 2009Although Google's Adsense program is an excellent way to earn, we need to understand that Google is a company that cannot be messed around with!
We should not abuse the system in order to make a quick buck. Many website owners, knowingly or unknowingly, violate Adsense Terms And Conditions and subsequently get banned.
If you are really serious about earning from Adsense, make sure you do not do anything that can get yourself banned. I have listed 12 things that you should NEVER even think of doing.
1. Never, I repeat, never click on your own Ads:
I think this is one of the biggest reasons why Adsense accounts get disabled. This seems obvious, but it's surprising how many people actually do that intentionally. If you think by clicking on your own ads, you can fool Google, you are highly mistaken.
Google has got its own proprietary technology to find out if the publisher has clicked on his own ads. And
once they know that, your account is in jeopardy.
Google wants to protect the investment of its advertisers, and it will never tolerate any false clicks. So make sure you do not make this foolish mistake.
2. Never, I repeat, never tell others to click on your own Ads
I often see click-swapping on Adsense forums. Its kind of you-click-on-my-ad-and-i-will-click-on-yours. Never ever do this.
If you want a strong Adsense business, stay away from trouble. Don't ask even your friends, relatives or employees to click on your ads. Do not provide any kind of an incentive to anyone for clicking on your ads.
I feel one good way to protect yourself is not to disclose your website's domain to anyone. Keep it to yourself and you are safe!
3. Never, I repeat, never modify Google's AdSense code
This is against Google's policy. Just use the code as-is. Don't play around with it at all.
4. Never, I repeat, never put pictures next to your Adsense Ads.
This is a relatively new policy. When i started with Adsense, this rule did not exist. Moreover, what Google actually wanted with this policy was never very clear. Nor did Google do a good job of clearly defining what is allowed and what is not.
Even i had put some pretty images next to my Ads, and achieved excellent CTR. But here is a rule of thumb. If you are in doubt, ALWAYS play safe. When this policy was enforced, i did not waste a moment removing images that were next to my my Ads. After all, I love my Adsense account, too!
My suggestion : If you have images next to your adsense ads, remove them immediately!
5. Never, I repeat, never title your Ads the wrong way.
You are not allowed to label your Ads with messages like "Click Here", "Related Links"
or anything else that misleads people into thinking that it is not an Advertisement.
You are however allowed to mention "Advertisements" or "Sponsored Links", because your ads are actually Advertisements. And Google is OK with that. If you want, you may prefer not to put any label at all.
6. Never, I repeat, never put Adsense on pages that do not have enough content.
Yeah, this is something that web-masters may not be aware of. But Google allows Adsense only on pages with good content.
Therefore it is not advisable to put ads on Thank You
pages, subscription pages etc. Make doubly sure that you have Ads only on pages with good content.
This also means that you should not put your ads on sites with junk content. Any site that doesn't really add value to the visitor is considered to be a junk site
7. Never, I repeat, never put Adsense on sites that have got prohibitive content. Make sure you do not have Ads on sites that have got anything to do with drugs, pornography, hatred, gambling etc.
Again, this is self explanatory, but some people simply don't understand!
8. Never, I repeat, never create multiple Google Adsense Accounts.
Google allows you to have only 1 personal account and 1 business account. Google links these two accounts.
Never try to fool Google by creating different accounts under different names. As long as you do not get caught, its fine. But if Google traces these accounts as being used by the same person, all your accounts are in danger of being suspended.
9. Never, I repeat, never enlist your site in any kind of auto-surf or traffic exchange programs.
Again, this is against Google's TOS. So stay clear of it.
10. Never, I repeat, never exceed the amount of ads you can display on a page.
Currently Google only allows 3 Ad blocks, 3 Link units and 2 referral buttons to be put on one page.I personally feel Google has allowed more than what is required.
So, i don't know why would you ever want more than this!
11. Never, I repeat, never reveal your Adsense Data
Google doesn't allow public display of your CTR, Impressions, eCPM etc on forums, eBooks, websites or any other publicly viewable media.
But Google doesn't have any objection if you mention how much you earn from Adsense.
12. Never, I repeat, never stay outdated!
Google's policies are constantly changing. It will help if you know what changes are taking place in the world of Adsense so that you can update your sites if required.
If you get banned by Adsense for whatever reason you cannot give the excuse that you were "not aware" of the policy. This will not be of much help. So know the waters that you tread on!
This article, by no means, is a comprehensive list of Adsense Policies. I highly recommend you go through all the policies in details. And never try to cheat the system.

The Competition Myth Debunked!
A baut my, Friday, June 19, 2009Today, there is a HUGE lie circulating on the Internet. It has nothing to do a celebrity marriage or political scandal. This lie has to do with ... Internet Marketing!
To be specific, many 'gurus' are claiming that certain niches have too much competition. It is their belief that certain keywords and entire niches has become over saturated with competing websites.
Their proof is a simple 'Google' search for the keyword or phrase in question. For example, at the time of this article, the keyword 'Insurance' shows 455 million other websites listed. The keyword 'Auto Insurance' has 84 million sites listed.
So, was is there so much competition of this niche? Why are so many webmaster creating pages in this market? That's simple: MONEY!
If you're an AdSense publisher, you should know that advertisers are paying more than $40 per click in the Auto Insurance market.
If you're an Insurance agent, you know that if someone becomes your customer, you can make hundreds a year off of their policy.
If you're a publisher, you should know that people use the Internet for research before making most purchase ... including Auto Insurance.
There is a ton of money exchanging hands in this Market.
So, for 'the new kid on the block' (i.e. YOU), There's no sense of even trying to compete with 200 million other websites. After all, in the minds of consumers, would "200 million-and-1" sites really make a difference?
Obvious, if we stopped here, we might tend to agree with the gurus. 'There's just too much competition in the Insurance niche to compete.' 'There's too much competition in the mesothelioma niche to compete!' There's too much competition in almost every market ... to compete!
The problem is that they are misreading the data! And, this mistake may be costing hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars each month in lost revenue.
Go to your computer and 'Google' the keyword Insurance (without quotes or brackets). Write down the number of websites returned. As I said earlier, at the time of this article there are 455 million web pages listed for this keyword.
Now, the fun begins! Look just to the right of the Google search box. You should see the word 'Preferences'. Click on it.
A new screen will appear. This screen allow you to change the way Google finds and displays your searches. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, and look for the words 'Number Of Results.' This tells Google how many websites to display on your page at a time. Most likely this number is set on 10. That means that when you do a search for Insurance, Google will display 10 results per page.
Next to this number is a drop down arrow. Click this arrow and change it to 100. Now, 100 websites will be displayed at a time. After this change is made, be sure to click 'Save Preferences' in the lower right hand corner.
When you click 'Save Preferences' click 'OK' and you'll be taken back to your search screen.
Now, scroll down to the very bottom of this page. you'll see the Google logo. Under this logo, you'll see the numbers 1 thru 10. Click on '10' This will take you to the 10th page of your search. And, since there are 100 results on each page, you're going to the 1,000th search result. (Maybe! More on that later!!)
OK. I just click on the number 10, and guess what. My screen is only displaying results 900-933...not 900-1000. Why?
Read the message Google included with your search. Mine reads, 'In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 933 already displayed.'
What does this mean? In Google's estimation, only 933 websites in the Insurance niche have content that is relevant enough to display to their customer. 933 web pages out of 455 million! The remaining 454,999,067 websites were either irrelevant or duplicate content.
933 websites ... worldwide ... are consider relevant for an high traffic, high paying keyword like 'Insurance!'
So, if you were competing with 455 million websites, I would say there is too much competition in that particular niche. But, when only 933 web pages contain relevant content... I would conclude that this niche is 'ripe' for the taking.
And remember, advertisers are willing to pay you $30-$40 per click!
So, the next time a guru tells you that a market is over saturated, or that there's too much competition, maybe you should examine their motives. Maybe they don't want YOU there, because they don't want YOU to become website number 934!
Stop listen to the lies of the so-called gurus. There is money to be made in almost every market. IF, and only IF you supply relevant, non-duplicate content!

Do Niche Google Adsense Websites Really Work?
A baut my, Thursday, June 18, 2009Here is a question from Tony, one of our readers:
"Do you think Adsense-niche websites really work? In other words, do they bring in money when monetized with clickbank and other methods for monetization as compared to other ways of Internet marketing?"
First off all, yes, Google Adsense can make you quite a bit of change. In fact, it is how I started out in Internet marketing.
I created a website in a small niche market, updated it regularly, and placed Google Adsense ads on it.
I started making a whopping $7 per day!
However, after applying the techniques I learned in an e-book my earnings changed overnight to $30 per day, and eventually hit $100 per day (that's around $3000 per month).
Considering I was in school full-time and working part-time (making about $20,000 per year), this was quite the profit to be making on a hobby!
Over the following few months I noticed my Adsense revenue going both up and down, and I started to make note as to why. I will share some of those observations here.
Before I get to that point, I want to talk a bit about the trend over the past couple of years to make "junk" Adsense websites (i.e. websites built only to get users to click on Adsense ads, and not really offering anything valuable).
I don't believe in them. They may work for a short while, but in the long run these sites will lose everything.
And if you tick off Google, they'll close your account with no warning and never open it again, thus killing your chances of revenue from this multi-billion dollar industry.
Instead, your goal should be to build quality websites that people actually want to come back to over and over again. This will ensure a steady flow of revenues, both from Adsense and from other affiliate programs that you use on your website.
Alright,
let's get to those observations now:
1. Great content = great Adsense revenue
Like I said before, junk websites will not give you the long term income that you are looking for. If you want return visitors (which equal to repeated clicks on ads), then you need to provide something valuable.
This should be in the form of great free content.
2. Regularly updated content = great Adsense revenue
Another important point is that your site needs to be constantly growing. This both attracts the search engines and your visitors.
Some people think that they can grab 1,000 PLR articles, load them on to their Adsense website, and then walk away.
However, search engines (and people) like sites that have useful content, but that also gets updated regularly, giving them a reason to come back over and over again.
3. Well placed ads = great Adsense revenue
This was my biggest mistake when I first started.
There are dozens of tips for placing ads that I won't get into here right now. I will give you one tip that is probably the most important - don't use borders! You should make the ad border color the same as the background color.
The main reason for this is that you don't want your ad to look like an ad. You want it to blend in with your site. This way people will still look at it, and click on links if they are interested.
4. Including an opt-in box = great Adsense revenues
My last tip for this article is to include an opt-in box on every page of your niche Adsense website. This way you can capture as many return visitors as possible.
Whenever you post new content on your website, you can email your growing list about that content and instantly gain more visitors to your website for the next couple of days.
This is the perfect way to "recycle" traffic and earn even more Adsense revenue.
Have fun building your Adsense websites!

Is Your Conversion Rate What It's Supposed to Be?
A baut my, Wednesday, June 17, 2009We get asked, "Is my conversion rate what it's supposed to be?" on a pretty regular basis. It's always tough give an exact answer for specific circumstances because actual conversion rates depend on many variables, including seasonality, web site response time, ad quality, etc. It takes a disciplined approach to hone in on the factors that influence the conversion rate for each customer.
Benchmark Data
While we can't give you an exact answer to the question, we can give you a benchmark against which you can measure yourself. Everyone loves a benchmark, right? Our benchmark represents aggregated data across an etailer data sample. It might not be suited perfectly to your individual situation, but it does give you a number to at least gut check your own experiences.
Aggregate - 1.91%
PPC Search Ads - 4.52%
Paid Shopping Engine Ads - 4.24%
Free Shopping Engine Ads (Froogle) - 4.63%
The data in the benchmark shows the following:
* The overall aggregate measure of conversion rate from the etailer sample is 1.91 percent.
* PPC Search traffic has a better conversion rate than straight Organic traffic, 4.52 percent versus 1.75 percent.
* Paid Comparison Shopping Engines convert at almost the same rate is Paid Search 4.24 percent
* Free Comparison Shopping Engines (there is only one we tracked, Froogle) beats everything at 4.63 percent
Seasonality has a large effect on these numbers. Just looking at the overall aggregate numbers, conversion rates during the pre-Christmas time period were 1.9 percent. From that period to today, the
overall conversion rates are at 1.45 percent.
How to Improve Your Conversion Rates
So even though we can't tell you what your specific conversion rate should be, here are a few guidelines that can help you improve your rates:
1. Organic traffic is still a large component of many of our customer's web sites. This can be inferred by the weighting of the numbers. Organic traffic isn't free, and this number shows that a well executed SEO campaign could have a large effect on your bottom line.
2. Paid search executed well can result in good conversion rates. Targeted ads and quality landing pages should result in higher conversion rates than your organic traffic. PPC when done right can be an important part of driving conversions on your site.
3. If you sell products, you should almost certainly be using some of the Comparison Shopping Engines. They have excellent conversion rates and good predictable bid prices.
4. Froogle is a great resource. It's the only one we are highlighting specifically since it's a bit one-of-a-kind. If you sell products, we can't think of a reason why you wouldn't want to be on Froogle.
A few more words of wisdom: make sure you have the tools to track conversion rates across all your advertising sources, including search engines, shopping engines, banner ads, email marketing, RSS feeds, affiliates, etc. It's also helpful if you can roll up all of your results in a single dashboard so you can quickly see where you might have problems with a source or campaign.
By analyzing your profit generated from each source along with your conversion rates, you can make good, informed decisions about how to optimize any of the components that are affecting your conversion rates.

Job Security Through PPC-CRM Integration
A baut my, Tuesday, June 16, 2009Let's assume you're a search marketing ace at a mortgage company and you're running a PPC campaign for three keywords on Google. Your boss, we'll call him Bruce (but his real name is Eduardo), is trying to figure out whether he can justify his enormous monthly Adwords budget. So he asks you a seemingly simple question: "Which keyword is performing the best in the campaign?"
You recently passed the Google test, and you're eager to show off your new SEM expertise to a civilian. You pull up the following information for Bruce:
Based on the data, you confidently explain that at $48, "30 year mortgage" has the lowest cost per lead. The answer's obvious, and you get that "I'm bored with you now" look on his face. Bruce says, "That's terrific, so how many mortgages have we closed as a result of that keyword?"
"Ummm," you fidget like a 3rd grader giving his first oral book report. "I have no idea."
Bruce asks you politely to pause the campaign, as he tries to remember if he has HR on speed dial.
Sound familiar to anyone?
Fast forward a few days. Let's assume that you did a little research (between frequent trips to Monster.com) and discover that the sales information you need resides in your company's CRM system. But you don't know how to combine that information with your PPC data. So you close your eyes and pray to the IT gods. The IT gods sprinkle a little code dust on your system and close the loop between your PPC application and your CRM system. Now when you generate a particular lead from your Web site, you can determine whether the lead eventually turns into an offline sale by looking at the sales stage. You can also identify the source of that sale (search engine, keyword, and ad text).
So with this additional, integrated information, let's revisit the scenario:
You know the cost per lead and now you also know the number of sales generated for each keyword. A little simple math gives you the new answer to Bruce's question: at $2,080, "fixed mortgage" required the fewest number of leads to generate
a sale and therefore had the lowest ad cost per sale. So it must be the best performing keyword.
You email Bruce with the answer. A short time later he strolls down to your cube and apologies for giving you a "needs improvement" on your performance review. But as he starts thinking about the data, he points out that while ad cost per sale is a valuable metric, what he really needs to see is the profitability associated with the keyword and sale. He just completed an expensive management seminar where he learned that unprofitable sales are bad.
You vaguely remember reading about profitability on a blog somewhere and, genius that you are, realize that once the IT gods integrated the CRM system into your PPC application, you had all the information you needed to answer the profitability question. You explain to Bruce that if you just apply the actual revenue minus costs (which you know from your CRM data), you can figure out the gross profit of the sale. Then you just have to back out the ad cost and, a la kazam, you have true profitability.
"Now," you say to Bruce, "I can identify exactly which keywords are generating profitable sales." And you show him the following data:
What appeared initially to be the correct answer, "30 year mortgage," actually turns out to be the worst (-$100) when profitability is applied. "Fixed mortgage" is better at $2,020. But when you have the additional revenue and cost data, you can see that it isn't quite as good as "mortgage." When taking profitability into account, it's clear that at $2,400 "mortgage" is the undisputed champ.
Bruce eyes you suspiciously, realizing that the little twit he almost fired will now be asking for a raise.
So as a result of the PPC-CRM integration, you can automatically match sales to leads and calculate profitability.
Each time you close an offline sale and record the sale in your CRM system, the sale gets matched to the lead where the sale originated. With this data, you can identify which ads are responsible for your most profitable sales. Then you'll be able to maximize the profitability of your account by focusing your ad spend only on keywords and search engines that have proven to turn a profit. You can eliminate the rest.

You Have Been Lied To! The Real Truth About High-Paying Adsense Keywords
A baut my, Monday, June 15, 2009Every single day I receive an email from someone or the saying:
"Abhi, please send me a list of keywords that will pay me $20-$30 per click in AdSense"
You see, I do not blame them for asking that question. It's not their fault. There is a lot of misinformation floating around the Internet. And newbies get attracted to anything that promises a lot of riches.
You will find many sites that will sell you lists of "High-paying AdSense Keywords" or list of keywords that will "Sky-rocket your AdSense earnings overnight".
They make you feel that if you purchase their list and design your sites based on these keywords, your AdSense earnings would touch the sky.
According to them, Google pays you around 50% of the keyword cost. So if someone clicks on the Ad, for a keyword costing $50, you will earn around $25...Cool!
But not so cool!
If it were that easy, you would find gazillions of AdSense success stories. Things are not so simple, friend!
How many who sell such lists have actually really profited themselves from those keywords? I can bet on my AdSense business...No one!
I have more than 1,50,000 keywords that drive traffic to my sites. So maybe, I know a thing or two about AdSense and keywords.
Every day when I look at my stats I know what the real truth is. And the truth is not what you think.
** The Truth **
Google never discloses what percentage it will pay to the AdSense Publisher. And there are too many factors involved which determine how much Google will pay you.
As I mentioned above, if Google paid everyone 50% on a keyword costing $50, you would become filthy rich in no
time. Ohh! Wish life was so easy!
For many so-called high-paying keywords, Big G sometimes pays me not even 10 cents. Can you believe that?
Yes that's true. Less than 10 cents for a HIGH paying keyword.
Agreed, there are times when I do receive $25 per click, but those are very rare cases. And those same keywords often give me 10-20 cents the next day.
So you can never be sure how much a click would earn you.
How much Google will pay you depends on factors such as your landing page, your content, Google's smart pricing, the Advertiser's cost of that keyword, and various other factors that are beyond our control.
So never build your AdSense sites according to High-paying ** keywords **.
This is what you SHOULD do instead...
Build your sites according to high-paying **niches**.
If you get hold of any keyword lists from any site, you will notice that most of these keywords are about finance, health, lawyers, business etc.
These niches are generally profitable because advertisers here have got money to spend on Adwords. And hence they are generally profitable for the AdSense Publisher too.
So build your sites based the above niches, and their sub-niches.
This doesn't mean other niches are not profitable. Many are. But the above niches are where our focus should be.
So you want to know the secret of succeeding in AdSense ?
1. Select several such profitable niches
2. Make websites for these niches
3. Drive traffic
4. And yes, don't forget to regularly track your cost/earnings.ratio
That's exactly what I have done. And my AdSense business earns me $14,000+ per month. Month after month.
If you do the same, you too will see amazing results. That's a promise.

Earning Money with Adsense: Getting Started
A baut my, Sunday, June 14, 2009How can you add to your website's earning potential?
It all starts when you realize that you can earn income by properly displaying Adsense ads on your pages. While most people are already aware of what Adsense is, more and more people are beginning to fully understand that a good amount of money can be generated from this revenue source.
First, let's consider some basic principles. The Math. If you get anywhere from a few cents to a couple of dollar per click, then the more clicks the more money. That is Simple enough. Now the part many people forget. The more pages you have, the more pages people have access to click on, the more money. Try multiplying your per pages calculated amount by the number of pages you have to get a rough idea of the true potential of Adsense.
Google Adsense has become a relatively fast and easy method that website developers can use to offset costs, while providing ads that are relevant to their websites content. These ads are often of interest to the reader simply because they are based on what the reader is already searching for. This provides some income to them and a service to the users. This is one of the main reasons why you can both monetize and enhance your content pages with Adsense.
The potential income that can be generated is only limited to how much the advertisers are willing to pay, and how many clicks are generated. If the keywords the promoter has selected are in high demand, you could receive more dollars per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords will earn you just a few cents per click. These keywords can be as little as a few cents, to as high as $20 or $30 per click.
How to turn your website into an Adsense Machine
1: Visit Google.com/Adsense and sign up for your free account.
Takes about 2 minutes.
2: Once your website has been accepted, you can generate Adsense code. You have the options to create display areas that fit your website. You can pick the colors, size, shape and types of ads being displayed.
3: Add the code to your website pages. You can insert Adsense code into as few or many pages as you wish. You can even add more then one Adsense block per page (up to three), and they can be different shapes, content or colors. Pick the blocks that work for your website. Google also offers ideas as to where to place them for better affects. This can be quite helpful to increase your clicks, and your revenues.
4: Publish your website with your new code added. Once your pages are live, you can start earning revenues from your Adsense blocks.
*Important Note* Google frowns on Click fraud. This is where you click on your own ads in your website in an attempt to earn income. Simple enough, don't risk it.
5: Check your statistics by logging into your Adsense account. While you're at it, consider adding the Google Analytics functionality to your website as well. Let the Adsense keep track of your earning and use Analytics to track your website traffic. They both go hand in hand, the more traffic, the more Adsense clicks you have potential for.
One thing you might wish to do is to look at other sites that are running Adsense. You might try to pattern your Adsense blocks in a similar fashion to those sites that are earning successfully. Position, size, and colors are all factors affecting how your website will perform and the amount of money it will give you.
It is a common issue that when a site begins earning money, the tendency is for the owner to try and "grind out" more money then they are already getting. Have some patience. It will usually take some time combined with trial and error to attain what you want for your Adsense contents.

The Sense Behind Adsense
A baut my, Saturday, June 13, 2009As a novice to Pay Per Click (PPC) earning programs like Adsense, one tends to think that the contextual advertising will adversely compete with efforts to sell visitors on a webpage. And since contextual advertising are designed to attract clicks, one might fear that customers might sip through the displayed adverts. As a result you earn a few dollars by commission from a visitor and lose possible hundreds and even thousands of dollars in making a sale of your primary offer.
This mindset was wide spread in the early days of Adsense. However, experience has proven that Adsense when properly implemented more often than not actually compliments your website's income. It results to an increase in the total earnings of the website or webpage. Most websites do not show a drop in Convertion Rate (CR) of the primary offer with the deployment of Adsense. Just as reminder, C.R is the percentage of visitors that end up as customers.
The sense behind Adsense and other contextual adverts lies in the general visitor behavior on a webpage. As opposed to popular belief, 7 out of 10 visitors to a website are looking to buy. Often
the visitor has a general idea of what they want to get. They pick out the specifics as they gather information across different sites and eventually buy from the most convincing one. A website will stabilize at a particular CR based on its persuasion ability. Obviously some sales pitch sell better than others.
Based on the previously stated premise, that 7 out of 10 are looking to buy, theoretically a website can achieve a maximum of 70% C.R. In reality sales pages are far from optimized and the average C.R online is 1.8%. (Note sustainable convertion rates of 10% to 25% have been documented.) The other 75% - 98% though potential buyers, they are un-convinced and do not buy.
Likewise, based on the said premise, 30% of visitors to website will never buy, they were just looking. Adsense targets the un-convinced visitors and these others who would never buy. And these stack up as a high as 98% of visitors to the average website. In essence Adsense and other contextual adverts monetize or make money from visitor you webpage or website could not make money from. Consequently, you make your usual sales as well as advertising commissions from a huge percentage of visitors you would otherwise just lose.

Creating Niche-based Websites For Google's AdSense Program
A baut my, Friday, June 12, 2009Google AdSense has simplified the process of making money online for even the small time niche website owner. There are literally thousands of ways to make money online. Many of these methods require you to get people to reach into their pockets and pull out their credit cards. This is easier said than done and may be a somewhat daunting challenge for the inexperienced copywriter. However, Google's AdSense program has streamlined the money making process by removing a step while allowing us to make money from our niche websites.
Anyone can build a website and begin to profit within a matter of minutes. We no longer have to convince our visitors to buy. In fact, we do not even have to sell them anything. Google AdSense allows us to profit with the simple click of our visitor's mouse. Here is a quick outline of how you too can cash in with Google AdSense.
The first thing you will need to do is choose a topic for the niche website that you will build for displaying Google AdSense ads. You are free to choose whichever topic your heart so desires, since Google AdSense has relevant ads for a vast range of categories and topics. It is recommended that you choose a topic in which you have experience or are interested in. This will make it easier to come up with fresh content for your website, or at least keep you interested while you are building up your website with topic-related content.
You will be developing a list of keywords based on your niche site topic and incorporating these into articles or locating articles focusing on each individual word or phrase within your list. No need to worry. Google AdSense is flexible and will only display ads relevant to your site's topic. You are now ready to build your site.
Depending on your skill set, building a website for Google AdSense will be either a pleasure or a royal pain. If you do not know HTML from BYOB, fear not, there are many free professional site templates, which will allow you to add your own pictures, graphics and personal touch in order to build a Google AdSense website to your liking. There are also many website building software programs available to make the development step a breeze even for the greenest of beginners. One such software is called XSitePro.
XSitePro is an extremely user-friendly website building software. It is a complete package containing all of
the tools necessary for the design, development and construction of a website that both you and the search engines will love. XSitePro comes with a comprehensive user manual, which serves as your roadmap to access all of the features and exploit the abilities of this very capable tool.
This software simplifies all of your website building tasks from creating attractive homepages to tricky website optimization. Everything in the XSitePro package is laid out beautifully in instructional videos designed to flatten the learning curve and get you in the fast lane to Google AdSense profits.
After you have built your website, you will need to apply to the Google AdSense Program. This is a very quick and painless process. Simply complete the online application form on the Google AdSense site, submit it, and wait for approval. It is that simple. Once you have been approved (This usually takes a few days), you will have access to the Google AdSense Console where you will be able to find your Google AdSense Publisher's code.
This is the coding that you will insert into your website's HTML (Did I mention that XSitePro takes care of this step too?) so that you can display Google AdSense ads. If for some reason your website is rejected, you will receive a detailed explanation. Simply make the necessary changes to your website and re-apply to the Google AdSense Program.
Now you have reached the final step in the process of making money from Google AdSense. This last step is not so much a step as it is an ongoing process. In order to make money from Google's AdSense program, you will need people to click on your ads. Before you decide to simply click the ads yourself or send your new site to your list of 200 people on your msn list, stop right there. You are not allowed to click on your own ads. Furthermore, if Google finds out that you have bots or friends clicking your ads (and they WILL find out), you could be banned from their program for life.
In simple terms, make sure that your traffic and visitors are from legitimate advertising. You can advertise your new site in a number of ways. The best way to build gradual, but long-term traffic is by writing articles and submitting them to the major article directories. There are other means to get quick, short-term traffic surges, but we are building a Google AdSense business here where slow and steady wins the race. Believe me; you will be happy you built your Google AdSense house on rock foundation when you are cashing your AdSense checks for many months and years down the road.

How To Use Keyword Elite For Free Targeted Website Traffic
A baut my, Thursday, June 11, 2009Keyword Elite is an extremely popular software created by Brad Callen which is used by internet marketers to get the most profitable website traffic. This article explains how to properly use Keyword Elite to increase the amount of targeted traffic to your websites.
When go to the Google home page and type in any keyword or phrase in the Google search box Google will then come up with a list of websites pertinent to the keyword you typed in. The websites on the left of the page are websites who have typically worked incredibly hard to optimize their sitee and get high quality, targeted back links for their website. These sites don't pay any money to be in that position, their hard work has been rewarded with top Google rankings.
If you glance to the right of the page you will usually see some ads appearing on the right in column format. There will also be some ads usually at the very top of the page. These ads are by Google Adwords advertisers. These advertisers are paying to be in that position to get their ads in front of people in the hope that their ads will be clicked on. One portion of website owners have got there for free. The other are paying for the service.
There is a software tool that can help you with both your search engine optimization for your website and your Google Adwords campaigns and I'm going to reveal how to use that tool for these purposes.
To use it for purely free search engine optimization follow these simple steps:
Select Project 1 which is "create a keyword list". Then in step 2 insert the main keyword that you believe you want to use to actively promote your website. Let's say your site was about bonsai gardening, that's the phrase that you would put into step 2. Next go to step 3 and choose Overture and move the slider in step 4 to just 100 keywords.
As we aren't after a massive keyword list but a smaller list of highly targeted and related keywords we choose Overture and a small number of keywords. Then once Keyword Elite has completed the task click on "report view" and "edit tab". This is the place to further analyze competitive keywords.
Our goal now is to find out how much traffic these specific keywords would generate to our websites if we either used these words on Google Adwords or had high search engine rankings for these particular keywords.
Alternatively you could try using free keyword tools.
Such tools are the Overture keyword tool, the Good Keywords tool and even the Adwords keyword tool.
Click on the first keyword in the generated list and just scroll down 15 or 20 words from the top. Select the top 20 keywords by holding SHIFT on your keyboard and clicking the 20th keyword. Simply right click and select "send keywords to project 2" from the
menu. Many of the projects are, in fact, interactive with one another.
The software will automatically insert the keywords that you have selected into project 2.
Next simply select all of the search engines in step 3 as we want to get as much information as we possibly can about these 20 keywords. In step 4 of this project choose KEI, Google broad match and Top Bids. Then click okay.
After the software starts processing this task click on "report view". The area that's critical for us to analyze is "searches column" as this is the column that will give us a rough guide of how many visitors we would expect to get if we were ranking well in Overture for that term every month. To get an idea of the Google traffic you would get from a top Google ranking then multiply that Overture figure by 7.
This project is a fantastic way of analyzing whether to optimize your website for that keyword.
It's important to sort the "searches column" list in descending order so that the keyword that generates the most traffic is at the top.
I would advise that if your website is new (under a year old) you should not optimize your site for the top keyword. It's much easier when starting out to rank well for longer keyword tail phrases. So for this purpose I would suggest selecting 1-3 of the other keywords generated when you are first starting out.
Getting back to our project, click on the R/S ratio column as this will put the list in ascending order. You will then see keywords that have a low R/S ratio which means few people are advertising on these keywords, however, the good news is that there are a lot of monthly searches for this keyword. Therefore, it's a great niche to get started with as there is low competition but a lot of searches (buyers) looking for information on this topic.
You will also notice the Adwords CPC column and also clicks and position columns. This information tells us that if, for example, we had a number 1 position for bonsai gardening what we would expect to pay per click and how many clicks we would expect to receive every day.
This is a very powerful way of using Keyword Elite to see whether or not it is a good idea, and profitable, to bid on a certain keyword. This report will also tell you the number of other advertisers there are on Adwords. Typically, the best and most profitable keywords are usually the ones that have around 8-13 advertisers. This shows that people are making money on this keyword plus the fact that there isn't too much competition.
Of course at this point you could also use Project 5 and legally spy on your competitors to find keywords that they are advertising on for more than a week.
If there are under 3 advertisers for your keyword it probably means that people have tried advertising on that keyword and it hasn't proved profitable. So at this point take advantage of this software and let it help you avoid making the same mistakes that other advertisers have already may.

Laser Internet Marketing
A baut my, Wednesday, June 10, 2009When the Nobel Prize winner Charles Townes had his epiphany one spring morning of 1951; for an invention his colleagues would later tease him of being irrelevant, he had absolutely had no idea it would improve businesses in a medium that was yet to be even created, the internet.
His invention of the laser, which is an acronym of "light amplification by stimulated emissions of radiation", is known for among other things creating precision. From industrial cutting machines to sniper sights mounted on assassins' rifles, laser is used for accuracy. Five decades into the invention and only one into internet business, this technology is being used in eye tracking experiments to map out precisely how surfers visually engage web content. Such intimate knowledge of surfers' behavior provides internet marketers with basis of optimizing web content both for visitor experience and conversions.
Eye tracking uses laser technology mounted behind the monitor screen that traces where the eye pays attention. As a result, a phenomenon called "The Golden Triangle" which particularly applies to Search Engines (SE) has been noted. This triangle stars from the upper left corner of
the webpage just below the logo, across the top-width about two thirds of the page towards the right. It then cuts diagonally and downwards through the page towards the left, slightly past the page fold. Finally, vertically up the left of the page to where it started from create a triangle.
This "Golden Triangle" agrees with the more school of hard-knocks "Google Heat Map" that was mapped for Adsense publishers by Google from actual clicking patterns of surfers. It is used to optimize Adsense adverts placement. In both maps, the upper left corner of a webpage is identified as prime real-estate; surfers pay the most attention to this area.
This has great implications in SE based marketing. In essence the laser eye-tracking shows that people search organic or natural listings in a SE ranking page many more times than they do for Pay per Click (PPC) listings in the same SE ranking page. This is because the PPCs listings are on the complete right-hand side of the page.
This then translates to mean that you get much more traffic by getting high placement on natural listings than getting high placement n PPCs. For internet businesses lethargic to search engine optimisation, this is proof they are leaving a whole lot of bargain on the table.

3 Things You Should Never Do with Your AdSense Account
A baut my, Tuesday, June 9, 2009Starting as a new AdSense publisher would not be easy, there are lots of things you should be aware of, here are three most important things that you should never do with your AdSense account:
1. Signing to AdSense without fully understanding Google AdSense's Terms Of Services agreement
Unlike many other agreements you sign while browsing the Internet, you simply have no other option but to read and understand AdSense's Terms of Service or risk receiving a ban. As it usually happens after a few months, you risk losing hundreds of hours of your work (as well as thousands of dollars paid for promotion and SEO) simply because you haven't read the agreement carefully enough.
Why is that? The common myth is that every webpage can display AdSense ads. That's not true. First, there are several categories of websites that Google forbids to take part in the AdSense program. Some of the categories are obvious - racist websites, those promoting illicit drugs or pirate software - but some are not. For example those advertising beer or hard alcohol-based products are also prohibited, so forget about opening an AdSense site about Russian vodka.
Another thing is that the AdSense's Terms of Service describes several specific activities you must not perform on your website if you are to avoid banning. Among others they include such things as excessive use of keywords, lack or minimal content on your site or adding misleading labels of Google ads. For example Google may ban you even for using "Click the ads" phrase!
The bottom line: Without learning what is and what isn't a viable AdSense website, you can't really start your business. Terms of Service agreement sets strict boundaries you have to keep yourself within in order to do business with Google. If you have any doubts about the rules, contact Google and ask them what they think about your problems. You keep to their rules AS THEY UNDERSTAND THEM or you're out of business within hours.
2. Asking your friends or relatives to click on your ads
Surprisingly there
are still many people who think that they can make money on AdSense by asking their friends or relatives to click on their ads. This scheme is both ineffective and very short-sighted, but nevertheless there are people who think they can do business this way.
The problem is that no one can become a successful AdSense businessman by using this method to create the artificial clicks. First, there are practical reasons: in order to make this scheme work, you must have at least two thousand clicks a month. What is more, they must come from different computers and different people! There is no way you can do that - getting thousands of people to click on your ads in any other way than by creating a decent website and/or a SEO campaign is simply not cost-effective.
Then, as such practices are expressly forbidden by Google, asking anyone to click on your ads increases the risk of banning you from AdSense. If the system detects multiple clicks from a single source, it raises the alarm and this usually ends in banning the website in question. Even if you ask your friends are relatives to use different computers or IP numbers, it is next to impossible that everyone will remember about it all the time. And you would need A LOT of people to make it worth more than an additional dollar or two a month (see above).
In short, any using method of creating artificial clicks - ie. those made by anyone but people who visited your website and were really interested in the ads - is pointless. It won't pay off and sooner or later will bring you a ban.
3. Clicking on your own ads
Never click on your own ads. Never! This rule seems to be obvious, but surprisingly this is one of the most common mistakes done by the beginning AdSense website owners. Clicking on the ads you have on your own site is the quickest way to get irreversibly banned from AdSense - sometimes even a single click is enough to alert the system. What's worse, you will have nothing for you defense - clicking on one's own ads is expressly forbidden by the AdSense's Terms of Service.
At times, clicking on your own ads may be tempting - but this is both immoral and ineffective. In short, it is not worth your time but may get you deeeeep in trouble.

RSS - Really Simple Syndication For Marketers Who Sleep And Want Fresh And Easy Adsense Content
A baut my, Monday, June 8, 2009We live in the information age, and there's just no getting around it. Information and news happens every single day, and savvy site surfers will expect you to update your content regularly. In fact, they'd prefer you to do that daily, or even hourly. And yes-I mean 24/7 hours. However, everyone needs to sleep. This article will discuss how to create fresh and regular content for your adsense websites through really simple syndication.
But you gotta sleep, right? And have some time off occasionally. So instead of spending every waking hour relentlessly surfing around from site to site looking for content, wouldn't you prefer it to be streamed in to your site? Well now you can, thanks to a very clever service, RSS.
RSS works so well that a lot of site owners swear it stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. Why is it simple? Because you just select the content you like and have it delivered directly to your site.
If you're a busy person-and who isn't, these days-RSS feeds can take the hassle out of staying up-to-date, by streaming in the very latest information that you are interested in.
So where do you get this good stuff? Well, if it's news you want, most of the major news sites provide it since it is growing rapidly in popularity. A few news services that provide it are Guardian, New York Times and CNN.
Simple Instructions About How To Use RSS Feeds
Well, the first thing you're gonna need is a news reader. There are many different versions of these, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. All allow you to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want.
My top picks for news readers, listed by the operating system they work with, are:
1. Mac OS X: NetNewsWire This is a simple yet elegant Mac-like aggregator that any one can use, yet it's powerful.
2. Windows: SharpReader A very
simple tool, but it delivers the goods.
3. Linux: Straw The best very aggregator for GNOME.
4. Web: Bloglines Enough said.
Now, after you've chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want. For example, if you would like the latest BBC News Entertainment stories, simply visit the Entertainment section and you will notice an orange RSS button on the left hand side.
If you click on the RSS button you can subscribe to the feed in various ways: you can either drag the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader, or you can cut and paste the URL into a new feed in your news reader.
Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera and Safari, have functionality that automatically picks up RSS feeds for you. To make absolutely sure, check the details on the homesites of those browsers.
RSS feeds are a great way to get free content streaming onto your pages. The only downside is that most of the free RSS feeds are news-oriented or entertainment-oriented, so if you run, say, a site that focuses on the latest video games, your audience may not really care that they can get the latest news streaming in there.
As far as the nitty-gritty, each RSS channel can contain up to 15 items and is easily parsed using Perl or other open source software. But you don't really have to worry too much over the details, since a simple Google search on "free open source RSS feed scripts" will produce the code you need to create your own RSS channel.
The next step, once you've created and validated your RSS text file, is to register it at the various aggregators, and start watching your traffic really spike. This happens because now any site can grab and display your feed regularly, which will drive traffic straight to your site.
It gets better-if you update your RSS file, all the external sites that subscribe to your feed will be automatically updated. What could be easier, other than watching those nice, fat checks from your Google AdSense ads roll in? Well, if you use RSS feeds, they'll work together!

Can You Make More Money Through Google Adsense?
A baut my, Sunday, June 7, 2009Tired of seeing clicks that are paying your $0.05? There is something you can do about it.
The biggest outcry for pretty well all adsense publishers is most often about low paying click values. If you're wondering why Google is only paying you $0.05 a click, you should not need to look much further than the content on your web page. Remember, your revenue is a part of the amount advertisers are willing to pay for respective keywords. The money they are willing to pay is based strictly on the amount they feel confident to earn from the sale of their product. For example, topics such as prom dresses, are more likely to receive $0.05 clicks than for a topic like life insurance. The reason is simple: the price of the products associated with those keywords dictate the amount advertisers will pay. The profits on car insurance can range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month, depending on the agreement. One sale could bring the firm several tens of thousands of dollars over the life of the agreement. How much profit is in prom dresses?
Another tip to consider is that if you focus on keywords that involve the terms "cheap", "free", or "inexpensive" products, its highly unlikely the ads that appear will furnish you with the best paying ads. Remember, if the advertiser is selling an itemrespective that is "cheap", "free", or "inexpensive" its unlikely they are bidding very highly on their keywords. So, what options are left for you?
While I will touch on how the layout of your site can impact your adsense revenue, lets look at your content - namely what we will call your money pages. So what exactly are your money pages?
In
the easiest of terms, your money pages are those where you believe your hopes for higher paying ads are greatly improved over other pages. So while you may focus your traffic generating strategy on long tail keywords for example, its your money pages where you aim to either make a sale, or, get the visitor to click on an ad. What topics are related to your main topic that target higher paying products? A bit of research and you can easily find products that an advertiser will pay more for.
If your site is on cooking, what products do you use to cook with? Is there some type of gizmo you use to help prepare your food? Cutlery, bakeware and cookware all payout larger amounts than items found in a recipe for cheesecake.
What if your site is about newborn babies? Every mom and dad wants to make sure that they are providing the proper care for their new additions. How they made sure their financial plan has been adjusted to provide insurance coverage for the family? What about college savings? Retirement funds? What about clothes?
If your site is on wedding favors, look into a couple of articles covering higher end wedding favors. While most wedding favor sites cover the topic of shoddy wedding favors, what about the demographic who isnt concerned about the cost of their wedding? Is there not a certain type of wedding favor for the higher end of income earners that you could speak to? While the number of clicks may be lower, their payout will more than make up for it.
Think about the advertisers when thinking about your money pages. Is there an item that they sell for a higher dollar value that your visitors may be interested in?
If you are getting only $0.05 a click, more most often than not, its your content.
