What is Google Smart Pricing? Google Smart pricing is designed to help advertisers to improve the effectiveness of their advertising campaign over Google content network. As a result, Google is making less money since the cost to advertisers is reduced in order to provide a strong ROI. Indirectly, smart pricing affects the earnings of AdSense publishers because they are paid lesser.
Unfortunately, smart pricing is not just affecting publisher's earning on one AdSense site, it affects the entire AdSense account. Regardless of the high performance of other AdSense sites across the AdSense account, if one of your AdSense sites is smart priced, all of your AdSense sites will be affected.
AdSense publishers are earning less because of the low cost-per-1000-impressions (CPM). You could find AdSense publishers revealing their CPM in a forum when their accounts have been smart priced. They normally have low CPM ranging from $1.50 to $5. However, low CPM does not necessary implied that your account has been smart priced. AdSense sites in lower earning niche generally have lower CPM.
What can AdSense publishers do to avoid being smart priced? The best way to ensure your AdSense site
is not affected by smart pricing is to create a good environment for advertisers and your readers. Creating compelling content for your targeted readers is as important as providing good user experience on your site. The more targeted traffic to your AdSense site, the better quality clicks for advertisers.
Some AdSense publishers maintain good quality AdSense sites as well as "less than quality" sites under a single AdSense account. They are facing the risk of getting their AdSense account smart priced because any of the "less than quality" AdSense site does not perform well could be smart priced easily. The increase in revenue of putting these "less than quality" websites could be less than the loss of revenue due to smart pricing on the entire AdSense account.
The smart pricing system should not only be viewed as a system to protect the interests of AdWord advertisers. It is also a system that indirectly benefits quality AdSense sites in the long term. The smart pricing system could force some AdSense publishers to drop those "low quality" sites. Perhaps with more quality sites, this could boost the advertisers' confidence to advertise in Google content network. Hence, it will bring more competition for keywords. Eventually, AdSense publishers will benefit from the high paying keywords.

How Does Google Smart Pricing Affect AdSense Publisher?
A baut my, Thursday, April 30, 2009Chronicles of Building an Adsense Site
A baut my, Wednesday, April 29, 2009Three months ago I began the process of developing a website for the primary purpose of generating income from advertising. I had no idea of what it would take or how I would get there. It's been an interesting journey.
I knew how Google's Adwords worked. I had used the program in the past for other ventures. I had seen Adsense text links and a few image ads from Google too, but I always assumed that Google or the advertiser were paying the web sites to display their ads. I admit that I couldn't figure out for the life of me why some companies would advertise on some of the cheesiest websites, but I really didn't think about it that much. Through a series of articles similar to this one I learned about pay per click (PPC) advertising and I could do it too.
I added Adsense banner ads to a couple of sites I own just for fun. One of which is a personal/family web site that does not get but a few hits a week. I did it mainly to learn about how Adsense worked and how to add the code to a web page. I am not a web developer. I barely understand HTML, PHP and know nothing about Java Scripting. It was a good learning processes, but now I needed to figure out how to use it to generate income.
I spent several weeks learning the best way to generate income with Adsense is through web content. I don't know if what is on my mind is interesting to anyone else or not, but I know I don't have the time to develop thousands of articles. I know some people that I could pay to write for me and it wouldn't be very expensive, but it will take time to produce that content and deliver it. I want to get started quickly. I read that duplicated content is not a good way to go, but I also discovered that many sites are just that. So I went searching for one of these
Adsense sites in a box. I ended up purchasing two different programs. One from adsenseready.com and one from adsensepages.com; although they did provide thousands of pages I later became fairly disappointed in those products. Even though I'm using them today, I do not recommend them. The content in these sites is heavily duplicated, and I've found more then one vendor selling this same content so I'm sure this stuff is way oversold. I was going to scrap my little project all together at this point, but I decided to turn it into a learning lesson.
I followed the instructions that came with these two products and got my site started with some Adsense content. It took several weeks before any ads would show up and then a few more weeks before ads related to the content on the page appeared. I learned this is more a function of Google indexing the pages then the pages themselves. Then I learned that the articles are riddled with broken or improperly coded links that I needed to fix. I thankfully know a little about sed and other mass editors to I could script many of the fixes. This process still took over a month and I'm still working on it.
Despite what the marketing around these Adsense ready products, you can't easily add or change affiliates. Pulling from an old programming trick, I developed my own method of controlling the advertisers on these sites. If you look and watch closely long enough I think you'll figure out what I did. If you figure it out e-mail me. I'd like your input. I had to make many other changes and improvements too. I added some RSS feeds for recent news to one set of the products. I added an area for partner or reciprocal links. Which is about as important as it gets when it comes to generating traffic. I'm still researching the best reciprocal link partner sites.
In summary, building an Adsense empire isn't as easy as most sites would have you believe.

Making Money with Google Adsense
A baut my, Tuesday, April 28, 2009How you can start earning money with Adsense can be done easily and quickly. You will be amazed at the
results you will be getting in such a short period of time. Start by writing some quality content articles which are also keyword incorporated. There are a lot of people given the gift of being good with words. Writing comes easy for them. Why not make it work in such a way that you will be earning some extra cash in the process.
There are actually three steps to put into mind before you begin writing your ads and having an effective Adsense.
Keyword search. Find some popular subjects, keywords or phrase. Select the ones which you think has more people clicking through. This is actually a keyword selector and suggestion tool that some sites are offering to those who are just their Adsense business.
Writing articles. Start writing original content with keywords from the topics that you have achieved in your search. Take note that search engines are taking pride in the quality of their articles and what you will be writing should keep up with their demands.
Quality content site. Build a quality content site incorporated with Adsense ads that is targeting the subject and keywords of your articles and websites. This is where all that you have done initially will go to and this is also where they will prove their worth to you.
The proper positioning of your ads should be done with care. Try to position your ads where surfers are most likely to click on them. According to research, the one place that surfers look first when they visit a certain site is the top left. The reason behind this is not known. Maybe it is because some of the most useful search engine results are at the top of all other rankings. So visitors
tend to look in that same place when browsing through other sites.
Some of those who are just starting at this business may think they are doing pretty well already and thinking that their clickthrough rates and CPM figures are quite healthy. However, there are more techniques and styles to generate more clicks to double your earnings. By knowing these techniques and working them to your advantage, you will realize that you will be getting three times more than other people who have been previously doing what they are doing.
Finally, Adsense has some excellent tracking statistics that allows webmasters and publishers to track their results across a number of site on a site by site, page by page, or any other basis you wanted. You should be aware oft his capability and make the most of it because it is one powerful tool that will help you find out which ads are performing best. This way, you can fine tune your Adsense ads and focus more on the ones being visited the most rather than those who are being ignored.
Another thing you should know. Banners and skyscrapers are dead. Ask the experts. So better forget about banners and skyscrapers. Surfers universally ignore these kinds of ad formats. The reason behind this is that they are recognized as an advert and adverts are rarely of any interest, this is why people ignore them.
To really start making money with Adsense, you should have a definite focus on what you wanted to achieve and how you will go about achieving them. As with any other kind of business ventures, time is needed coupled with patience.
Do not just ignore your site and your Adsense once you have finished accomplishing them. Spare some time, even an hour, making adjustments to the Adsense ads on your sites to quickly trigger your Adsense income.
Give it a try and you would not regret having gotten into Adsense in the first place.

A Beginner's Guide To Adsense
A baut my, Monday, April 27, 2009Adsense has been developed by Google and it is one of their prime products.
Adsense is a tool that helps you to market your website using keywords. It is the most effective way of promoting your business. Adsense marketing is a tool that can get you results using keywords while your ignorant competition is away working on strategies and statistics. Adsense uses keywords to get your ratings way up in the market while the ignorant rest keep watching.
Adsense marketing not only makes sure that the visitor visits your site, but also helps you the keep the visitor there and get him back more often. All this through simple use of keyword rich content that should make sense while strewing keywords all over it.
Always remember, no matter what that content is King! Being content rich in keywords not only place you in the front of the rat race but also keep you there due to targeted traffic revisits.
The process of Adsense marketing brings your website to the forefront of search engines and keeps it there, thus ensuring maximum traffic.
All this through branding the site content with keywords, making it rich in relevance and recognition. This process, once begun becomes virtually continuous since the web spiders continue to index your page enabling it to get more and more traffic without any real continued effort.
More targeted traffic leads to more business and thus improves your bottom lines. So Adsense marketing improves visibility of your site through content rich in keywords. How to go about achieving this?
Step 1: Build a website inclined towards marketing your product with keyword rich content
specifically related to your product and your market.
Step 2: Promote your products and your focus through keyword rich articles written specifically for your market segment or niche.
Step3: Promote back linking or reciprocal linking capabilities with the articles you write by using specific text links.
Step 4: Develop traffic promotional matter that would encourage your client to visit the site again and again, encourage them to send their friends to your site, and continuously provide content interesting to new clients.
Step 5: Stand Out. Gain brand recognition by narrowing the scope to a specific segment or niche of the market.
Make use of the market available to your segment or niche by using relative keywords which are focused specifically to your product or service. This would bring visitors who are interested in your product or service to your site, and helps you to narrow the lineup, at the same time promoting your product or service to more visitors interested in further information. A customer who is focused and has a specific interest in your product or service is far more likely to stay around and purchase something from your site than one who accidentally comes across your site while surfing looking for something unrelated. This is called targeted traffic and when Adsense marketing says content enriched in keywords, it means that the keywords are specific to your market segment or niche. Only these keywords can bring in targeted traffic, all other traffic while statistically brings more hits, really does not add to your bottom lines and eats up your bandwidth.
Therefore select your keywords with care, to bring in specific target to the site. Broad scopes don't work. Get a niche and stay in it. You will get better results and rewards.

Click Fraud War - AdSense Publishers Armed Yourself with the Right Tools
A baut my, Sunday, April 26, 2009Major PPC companies such as Google and Yahoo decline to quantify the scope of click fraud. However, some estimate click fraud range from a few percent to more than twenty percent. Click fraud occurs when a person, automated script, or computer program imitates a legitimate user of a web browser clicking on an ad. These clicks are done for the purpose of either to drain competitor's marketing budget or generate advertising income.
Who Commits Click Fraud?
Business Competitors:
Competitors of a business try to drain opponent's pay per click (PPC) marketing budget by clicking on their PPC ads deliberately. They may click themselves, have friends or employees click or use software to click the ads. Advertiser's PPC ad will automatically stop showing on the ads listing if the daily budget of PPC campaign is set. Competitors can then bid at a lower price for the same position.
Web Publishers:
Many web publishers are making money by showing ads syndicated by PPC companies such as Google, Overture, Yahoo and etc. They earn money from clicks on these ads. Some publishers fraudulently generate clicks on their own ads in order to make money or make more money quickly.
Networks of Clickers:
There are few networks of clickers organized by fraudsters to click PPC ads. In these networks, each member is asked to click on other member's PPC ad in return for other members to click on his ad.
Bad People:
Plain old mean people know that they can easily drive advertiser's marketing budget to the roof or kick publishers out of the PPC advertising business by clicking on their PPC ads deliberately and frequently.
PPC
companies such as Google and Yahoo do not tolerate click fraud and they have sophisticated anti click fraud systems in place to fight click fraud. These systems will monitor incoming clicks and then discard fake clicks. However, these systems relied on unrevealed artificial intelligent click fraud patterns are far from perfect and sometimes not effective. Besides, the current systems provide no protection for the publishers. These systems do not alert the publishers for click fraud activities happened on their websites. Publishers could easily be banned from the PPC advertising program for click fraud activities which they did not commit.
How Do Publishers Monitor and Stop Click Fraud?
To prevent click fraud and protect your AdSense business, you should install a more sophisticated AdSense tracking tool, such as Adlogger, on your AdSense website. You should constantly monitor your AdSense site using AdSense tracking tool in conjunction with Google AdSense channel.
These advanced tracking tools will give you extra tracking information and features which are not provided by AdSense Channel. These information and features include:
- Which Ad has been clicked
- The PPC Ads details
- The time, origins of each click.
- The browsing history of each IP on your site
- Alert you and stop multiple clicks from the same IP
- Block certain IP from click on your AdSense Ads
With a more complex tracking tool installed on your website, it would be easier for you to spot any unusual click activities on your websites. Once you have discovered unusual activities on your AdSense site, you can alert PPC companies about these activities immediately and let them investigate the problem. This will provide your AdSense business minimum protection against click fraud.

How Google Detects Invalid Clicks - A Must Know For AdSense Publisher
A baut my, Saturday, April 25, 2009A lot of Google AdSense publishers are banned from the Google AdSense program for invalid clicks. Some of these Google AdSense publishers manage to get their AdSense account reinstated. However, majority of them failed to do so. As a result, they are banned from the Google AdSense program.
Google does not reveal any specific details about invalid clicks in order to protect their proprietary clicks fraud detection technology. Hence, you would not know who is generating these clicks on your site or where these clicks come from.
If you are not getting any details of the invalid clicks from the termination letter, it may be a good idea to learn how Google defines these clicks and ways to detect them.
Google defines invalid clicks as:
• Manual clicks intended to increase publisher’s advertising
• Clicks by automated tools, robots, or other deceptive software.
So how does Google detect these clicks and how would they know which clicks are invalid? Google AdSense team uses three powerful tools to detect invalid clicks:
• Detection and Filtering Tool: Each click on an AdSense ad is monitored by Google system. Google will record the IP of each click, the time of the click, duplicate clicks and various click patterns. Google
will use these factors and filter out potential invalid clicks.
• Advanced Monitoring Tool: Google uses its proprietary software to monitor clicks fraud activity. They are constantly working to improve their technology.
• The Google Team: In addition, Google has a team that uses specialized tools and techniques to examine individual case of clicks fraud. When Google system detects potentially invalid clicks, a member of this team will examines the affected account.
Despite the effort that Google put in to improve their clicks fraud detection technology, there are few innocent publishers whose AdSense account has been suspended or banned temporarily for different reasons. For example, a sudden spike in your AdSense earnings would probably raise the red flag in their system and cause your AdSense account to be suspended. If your AdSense account is suspended for invalid clicks which you did not commit, Google provides you a way to make your appeal:
http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/request.py?contact=invalid_clicks_appeal
A Piece of Advice
When you are making your appeal via email, you should stay calm and plan the right strategy. You should be patient when dealing with Google and most importantly you should be polite when communicating with them. You may take initiative to provide them with all the documents they need.

Google AdSense Account Terminated - What Should You Do?
A baut my, Friday, April 24, 2009Once you have decided to take your marketing campaign to Google's AdSense pay per click program, you agree to a number of rules including:
• No hidden pages. You must have a clear hierarchy and each page needs at least one link to get there.
• No broken links. If you link outside of your site, make sure you check your links often. No more than 100 links per page.
• When designing your site, create one that is helpful to a user; don't design a page for search engines. Make sure you clearly define what your site is about.
• Your TITLE and ALT tags should be precise and descriptive.
• You need a site map to help users find what they are looking for if your menu doesn't.
• No hidden text.
• No redirection of your site
Even if you follow all these design rules, you may still be at risk of losing your AdSense advertiser account or have temporarily been fined a penalty in the form of your ads being removed from rotation on other sites. The penalty may go away with time, but it's best to double and triple check your site then file a re-inclusion request (instructions below.) Include in your request which changes you've made and that it won't happen again.
Your competitors might have a plan that could get you banned. It's called "click bombing" and it's against Google's policy.
Click bombing happens when someone, be it a competitor or not, repeatedly clicks the pay per click ad for a business in order to raise flags with Google. Google
rates their ads based on relevance, so the more an ad is clicked, the more relevant it becomes, and the higher up the list it moves. This has made it very easy for business owners to move themselves up the relevance list, so Google countered this practice by red flagging any business that has a significant spike in AdSense hits. If the hits all trace back to the same IP address or addresses, the advertiser is removed for "invalid clicks".
Finding out about this strength in Google's search engine, sneaky competitors have started to exploit it by purposely clicking the competitions ad again and again, in order to ban the ad.
If this has happened to you, or if you've been banned for violation of any of the design or technological terms of your contract, you can sometimes have it overturned by contacting customer support. You can contact Google support by visiting http://www.google.com/support/bin/request.py. Make sure you type "Re-inclusion Request" in the subject of the email. Keep your request simple, short and to the point. No need to threaten Google that you'll stop advertising with them or list how long you've been a customer.
It is imperative, though, that you run reports frequently and store the data outside of your Google account. This will help prove to Google that a click bombing happened should you be removed. You are not guaranteed a reversal, however. In fact, most pleas to Google to have a banned account go unheard.
If you don't get a positive response from Google, you may want to check out some of the other pay per click programs, like Yahoo! Publisher Network or the many affiliate programs online.

You will then have to supply your contact information as well as the website that you want to have your ads placed on. After you are approved you will be able to get started. Google will send targeted ads to your site. So for example, if you are running a site on how to make money on line, they will send ads that correspond with that subject.
Making money from adsense is not a difficult concept either. The main thing to remember is that you will make money on how many times your visitors click on the ads that are displayed on your site. Making money from adsense is much easier if you have a lot of traffic. Because obviously, if nobody is visiting
your site nobody can click on your ads.

If making money from adsense is what you are after you will need to have a good marketing campaign in place. This way as your site begins to get more hits, you will also begin to make more money through adsense.
Making money from adsense is a viable opportunity if you put your mind to it. There are many people who have used this system to their advantage, and are cashing in on it. Making sure you increase your overall traffic is the best way to ensure that you give yourself the best chance of making money from adsense.

How to Evolve Your Business Around Your Adsense Business
A baut my, Wednesday, April 22, 2009I know what you're thinking. Oh, no, one more person that's going to tell me where to put my Google AdSense ads or what color they should be. You're only partly right. I AM going to do a quick recap of the most recommended - and proven - ways to bring more money into your business through Google AdSense. Then I'm going to tell you how to use that money - and what you learn from earning it - to help shape your business to profit even more.
The Top Three 'Increase your AdSense profits' Tips
1. Target higher paying keywords.
2. Increase your click-through rate.
3. Increase your site traffic.
There are three factors that determine your AdSense profits - how much each click pays off, what percentage of your site visitors click through on those ads and how many people visit your site. Increase any one of the three and you increase your AdSense profits, Increase all three at the same time and your AdSense business will really take off.
The Basic Business Premise That Everyone Forgets
Skim through any webmaster forum with a discussion on maximizing your profits through AdSense and you'll see a common theme - where can I get it for free? Everyone wants free tools that will help their site outperform all others and start pouring AdSense money into their coffers. What they're all forgetting is one of the basic premises that every business student learns:
"Put the profits back into the business."
Let's go back to the top three ways to increase your AdSense profits
and see how you can use your AdSense money to bring in more AdSense money.
1. Target higher paying keywords.
Google doesn't make it easy to find out how much you're making on specific keywords. In order to figure that out, you'll need to be watching your own analytics and running cross checks. Which ads are getting clicked on your pages? What keywords are pulling in those ads? What differences do you see when you fine tune your content?
Invest in a good ad tracker to help you keep a handle on which ads are doing well from your site - and then optimize your site for the keywords that pull those ads in. Since Google allows you to use AdSense on multiple sites, use what you learn to develop other sites that capitalize on those higher paying words.
2. Increase the click through rate.
One way to increase the click through rate is to work on delivering the right traffic to your site. This may mean investing in a little advertising of your own. Research your site analytics to follow site visitors from the referring link all the way through where they leave your site and watch for trends, then target your own advertising to capitalize on those trends by placing ads on sites that send you traffic that clicks through.
3. Increase your site traffic.
Obviously, the more people that visit your pages, the more chance there is that some of them will click through on some of the AdSense ads on your pages. You can buy traffic - but that's seldom the best solution. Instead, invest in a strategic combination of advertising your site on relevant sites and providing excellent content to keep visitors coming back to your site.

You Will Lose A Big Portion of Your AdSense Earnings If You Don't Do This
A baut my, Tuesday, April 21, 2009You are working hard creating good and quality content for your Google AdSense web site. You carefully plan a good link building strategy for your Google AdSense web site. You distribute your articles through article distribution channels regularly. You submit your Google AdSense web site to web directories and you've done basic search engine optimization on all of your AdSense pages. You work extremely hard to get as much traffic as possible to your Google AdSense web site.
One day, you receive an email from a webmaster who owns a huge mailing list informing you that your site will be featured in his newsletter. You are happy that someone likes your Google AdSense web site and he will promote your web site for free. You start receiving huge amount of referral traffic from his newsletter. Instead of getting 2000 hits per day, you are getting 200,000 hits per day now. This sudden traffic surge boosts the number of clicks on your Google AdSense ads. Your Google AdSense earning is increased by a few folds.
Before you know it, you receive an email from Google saying that your account is suspended due to "invalid clicks". You didn't click on your Google AdSense ad intentionally or accidentally. Everything you did so far does not violate the Google AdSense terms and conditions. You could not figure what went wrong
and why your Google AdSense account is suspended.
Sudden Jump in Google Earnings Triggers Red Flag
The sudden jump in your Google earnings has alerted the Google AdSense team and the result is the suspension of your Google AdSense account. In fact, this happens to a dozen of Internet Marketers. However they manage to get their Google AdSense account fully reinstate using the right strategy.
If your AdSense account is suspended because of the sudden jump of your Google AdSense earning, you should stay calm and plan the right strategy before you talk to Google. You should be patient when dealing with Google. You should be polite when communicate with them and take initiative to provide them with all the documents they may need. You should not argue with them why they've suspended your account unfairly. After all, your main purpose is to get your Google AdSense Account reinstated.
Jason has written General Guideline for AdSense Reinstatement. This is a detail guideline on how to get your Google AdSense account reinstated if you have not violated Google AdSense terms and conditions. He also provides a few examples of correspondence he was using to get his account reinstated.
In conclusion, to avoid any disruption to your Google AdSense business, it may be a good idea to alert Google AdSense team about the possible surge of traffic that your Google AdSense web site may receive.

• 127.0.0.2 pagead2.googlesyndication.com
Once you save the hosts file and restart your browser, you will not see the AdSense ad while you are working on your AdSense web site.
You can find the hosts file from the following directory of your PC:
• Windows 95/98/Me (c : windows)
• Windows NT/2000/XP Pro (c : winntsystem32driversetc)
• Windows XP Home(c : windowssystem32driversetc)
Please be aware that if you've disabled the javascript in your browser, any program that is relied on Javascript may encounter problems. If you've disabled the AdSense ad by editing your host file, you would not be able to view any Google AdSense Ads from any Google AdSense site. So it is highly recommended that you undo the changes when you finish working on your site.

Don't Just Depend on Google AdSense
A baut my, Sunday, April 19, 2009Want to make money while directing more traffic to your website? You might consider pay per click advertising streams. They can direct Internet users who might want to pay for your information or products to your site at the same time you offer advertising space to sites your users might be interested in. Before you sign up with the first pay per click or affiliate program you see, do your homework.
Google AdSense is the most popular pay per click program out there today. It has the benefits of being in the game for a long time and offering a great deal of research and development into their keyword matching. But what if you have been removed from Google AdSense or just want to branch out and try other services as well? There are other options out there.
Yahoo! also has a pay per click program, theirs is called Yahoo! Publisher Network. It works similarly to Google's AdSense program but has only recently come onto the scene. Users of both AdSense and Publisher Network have found that, though Google is quicker to remove an advertiser, they are still the most valuable. The Yahoo! service is likely not far behind, though.
Chitika and AdBrite are just two of the other pay per click advertising streams currently online. They offer a marketing service and affiliate program. Here's how it works:
- You create your website to sell your goods or information
- You sign up for Chitika or AdBrite or a similar marketing program
- Other companies who sell goods or information that compliments yours also join the marketing program
- The program matches your goods/information
and the complimenting companies
- You advertise their site and they advertise yours, through a variety of marketing formats that feed directly to your sites
There are four basic benefits of using a streaming advertising service:
- Intelligent, targeted recommendations bring product and information links related to your site content to the visitor
- Database that handles your ads continually "learns" which ads work best for your site and changes the ads as needed, in addition to regular ad rotation
- You get paid when your visitors click through the ads on your site
- You can usually bid on the cost of your ad appearing on other sites (at least with Google and Yahoo! programs), allowing you to easily manage your online marketing costs
Affiliate programs offer similar, but not the same, website advertising. There are large affiliate programs out there that only permit businesses with mid to high level traffic. There are small affiliate programs that swap a one-for-one link and let anyone take part. New businesses should look for something in the middle.
The best banner ads are those that are not rich with graphics. Textual link ads are the quickest to load so they are the most effective. The cost of affiliate programs range from tenths of pennies per click to monthly fees of $5 or more.
Regardless of the affiliate or pay per click program you use, it is good business practice to run reports frequently and change the ad streams if you aren't making money from the ads on your site or aren't receiving much traffic from your ads on other sites. It is also important to change the information on your site often or offer freebies to encourage visitors to return again and again.

Don't Just Depend on Google AdSense
A baut my, Saturday, April 18, 2009Want to make money while directing more traffic to your website?

Tracking Your AdSense Performance
A baut my, Friday, April 17, 2009Google AdSense is a program that offers an easy way for web publishers to display ads relevant to their site on their pages and earn money. It also offers pay per impression, or pay per click advertising, options to businesses who want to get the word out about their product or service to interested customers. Once you start your AdSense account don't forget about it and wait for money to start rolling in. There is still work to be done.
Since you will only make money from click-throughs on your site, you'll need traffic - and the more traffic, the more money you'll make. Here are some tips for getting the most from your AdSense dedicated space and for driving up traffic:
- Location, location, location. Position your AdSense ads at the top of your page or near the focal point of your pages
- Offer freebies or unique content. Free stuff is a big draw to visitors and more visitors equal more click throughs, which turns into more money in your wallet
- Rotate content often and let your visitors know it's always changing. It keeps them coming back for more.
- Keep those email addresses. It's important to keep the email addresses of your visitors and let them know when your content has changed. Consider offering a free newsletter or ezine to your visitors to stay in contact with them.
- Add Google search to your site. In addition to offering visitors the convenience of searching on your site, you can make more money from Google by adding this feature.
- Keep your graphics small and simple. Because graphics and animations take longer to load than text and links, the simpler your pages, the quicker they load. And
the faster they load, the faster your visitors can click their way to your profit.
- Keep the design simple and clear.
Reporting and monitoring is the next important step. Google has built in reporting features but you may want more detailed reports as well. The Google reports will show:
- Total number of page impressions
- Number of ad clicks and the click through rate
- The cost per click (CPC) and cost per 1000 impressions (CPM)
- Total earnings
While this is wonderful, valuable information, you may also want to know:
- Click through rates of every page on every domain you are using AdSense on (the Google tool called "Channels" limits the information you get from each domain or ad type)
- Keyword reports if you have the Google Search feature on your site(s), so you can optimize for those search words
- Reporting in real time, rather than waiting 48 hours for reporting from Google
- Which particular ads are making you money
- Detailed information about each click including IP address, date/time, page the ad was on, particular ad that was clicked on, original referrer to your site
You can get all of this from third party AdSense tracking software, available online from a number of vendors. You may want to email Google to make sure it's an approved script; otherwise you risk being removed from the AdSense program.
Once you have the data regarding which ads are working and which aren't, change your preferences to stop running ads that aren't paying off and increase the ads that are. There are options to change color palettes of the ads to better fit your site, a variety of ad formats to always keep your website looking fresh and don't be afraid to rearrange content often.

How to Increase AdSense CTR in Ten Easy Steps
A baut my, Thursday, April 16, 2009As an AdSense Webmaster, you can monitor your CTR and your site traffic to determine how and where your ads are most effective. Maximizing your success with AdSense will be experimentation and trial and error, but there are some things you can do from the start to help your CTR along.
1) Ad Placement
Many websites try to hide the fact they have ads. They put them at the bottom of the page or only have one or two that are so small, the rest of the page distracts from them. While it's okay not to want to bombard your visitors with a site of ads, those ads are also a crucial part of keeping your business functioning. If magazines tried to bury their ads under all the content, they wouldn't be in business for very long, would they? Your site should be the same way. Place ads where they can easily be viewed and where they're visible to your visitors.
2) Ad Text Color
The text color of your ads should match the text color of your site. If you use bright blue for headlines on your site, use that for your AdSense headlines as well. This makes it appear as if the ads are part of the content.
3)Page Content
Choose a broad niche for your site, then break it down into smaller niches. Those smaller niches go on separate pages. This is also site organization and will help you place better-targeted ads. For example, if you have a computer site, break it down into sub niches: repairing computers, new computers, used computers, software, etc.
If you lump things together on one page and don't organize, you'll find that your CTR will be lower because your content is unorganized and scattered; therefore, your ads aren't as helpful to the visitor as you may think.
4) Don't Label Them as Ads
Don't label them as ads or sites sponsors. Although these are the only two terms allowed by Google, there's no need to point out that these are ads. It will just prevent them from blending in with the content of your site. Since the ads are targeted, if you allow them to, they will appear to be additional information on what your visitors are already interested in. Don't put a sign there letting them know they're wrong and it is, indeed, a "dreadful" ad.
5) Ad Appearance
Take away the border and background colors of your AdSense ads. These make them stand out as ads rather
than information your visitors will be interested in. As said earlier, your ads should blend into the page. By making them appear as information you're providing, you're giving them another point of interest rather than an ad that many people might shy away from.
6) Expand Your Site
Expanding your site and adding pages should go hand in hand. However, expanding your site could just mean adding and refining content. It's important that you add pages with quality content as well. This increases your search engine ranking and gives more pages for AdSense ads.
7) Move the Ads
Sometimes return visitors only see what's new or what's changed. Move your ads from time to time, especially if you notice your CTR dropping. More often than not, you'll see an increase again as those same return visitors notice something in a different place and actually start to click through the same ads they didn't "see" last week.
8) Ad Format
Wider ads appeal to more visitors because they're easier to read. If something is easy to read, someone is more likely to take the time to read everything rather than just glancing at the first few words. However, it's important to balance your ads and the content on your pages. You'll discover that the way you think the ads should be for optimal CTR aren't always where they need to be. Monitor your ad placement versus CTR and you'll find the place and format that works best on each page.
9) Don't Chase the Million Dollar Keywords
Don't try to compete with the experts for the $100 keyword. It may work from time to time, but you'll have more success with mid-range keywords, and less competition too. By using mid-range keywords, you are more likely to achieve success over the long term. Remember that success in driving targeted traffic to your site by being ranked high in the search engines will increase your CTR with AdSense.
10) Use Text Ads, not Image Ads
By far, more webmasters have had success with text ads and not image ads. They look more like part of the document and are more appealing to visitors. Feel free to experiment with both, but text ads blend into your site better and result in higher CTR.
When trying any new method of using AdSense or new placements, be sure to monitor and track the results. After all, you're experimenting to see what brings you the highest CTR. By documenting your results, you'll know what makes the most money for you and you'll become one of the AdSense Webmaster gurus in no time at all.

How Do You Track Your Adsense Performance Using Tools Available For Free?
A baut my, Wednesday, April 15, 2009One vital link in making real money through a Google Adsense campaign is accurate data and data analysis. Yes, we're talking about tracking. If you're not tracking the performance of ads being placed on your pages, there is one very good reason why you should be: by learning which formats of ads on what type of pages perform best on your site, you can weed out the ones that don't offer any real value and focus on increasing the combinations that bring in the most ROI. Yes, ROI - after all, your time is an investment, isn't it?
Here's the bottom line - a visitor to your site decides to click on an Adsense ad because of a complex combination of factors. Tracking all those factors can be a complex and time consuming endeavor - which is why there are a lot of software vendors out there trying to make a buck off 'solutions' to make easier and quicker. The fact is that you don't have to spend a dime to get all the tools you need to do a comprehensive analysis of your site's performance with Google's Adsense, though some of the software packages have some nice bells and whistles. Google provides a fairly powerful suite of tools that you can use to track and analyze site performance for free.
Using Google Channels Effectively
Adsense channels are the tracking option offered by Google to help you test ad layouts and other factors and determine what works best on your site. When you create a channel in Adsense, you can break down site reporting by site, domain, sections and individual pages. The system records impressions, click through rates, CPM and earning statistics for each channel that you create.
Google's Adsense program offers two types of channels that can help you figure out:
-
What colors and ad styles are most effective
- The best place to put your ads on each type of page
- Where Adsense ads perform best (blogs? Forums? Content pages?)
The first type, URL channels, allow you to create a data stream based on the URL of the pages on which ads are displayed. The second, Custom channels, will open a date collection stream based on your specific criteria. A URL channel is useful for figuring out where on your site to place ad units - and what type of page to focus on developing. If your data shows, for instance, that you get a tremendous click-through rate on article pages, but only tepid performance on forum pages, you have two different directions to work with :
- you can focus on developing more article pages to maximize their better performance
- you can examine your forum ad placement and tweak the formats and styles to increase the performance on those pages
...or you can do both, if you have the resources.
If you decide to tweak your forum page ads, you have a powerful free tool in the Custom Channel creator and aggregator. By creating a new channel for each ad unit, you can track its performance based on color palette, ad format, page and location on page. When you tweak an ad unit, make one change at a time and create a new channel to monitor the performance to see the effect - and when you find something that works, stick with it.
Using Other Tracking Methods
If you're not satisfied with the tracking methods offered by Google Adsense, there are a number of free ad tracking solutions available. Among the best are:
- AsRep Google ad tracking trial version (http://www.asrep.com/download.php)
- Google Analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/)
- Adsense tracking script (http://www.monetizers.com/adsense-tracking-script.php)

What Are the Alternatives to Google AdSense?
A baut my, Tuesday, April 14, 2009
Google AdSense is the most widely used content-based advertising program by webmasters and web publishers to help generate extra income. Publishers register for a Google AdSense account, enable Google ads relevant to the content on their websites and make money when a visitor clicks on an ad. However, although Google AdSense is generally considered the current leader in content-based, online advertising, it's important for web publishers to realize there are many alternatives to this program, whether they are used instead of or in addition to AdSense.
Furthermore, many web publishers may find too many problems with Google AdSense. For example, they can be too picky in suddenly terminating people's accounts. When web publishers lose their Google AdSense accounts, they need to know what other options they have. In addition, Google AdSense's terms and conditions are such that some publishers are not even accepted into their program. Finally, some publishers find that Google AdSense does not provide a large enough selection of relevant ads that match their content. It is definitely worthwhile to consider alternatives to this program.
Pay-per-click advertising besides Google AdSense is one type of alternative, including such programs as Adbrite, AllFeeds, BidVertiser, Chitika, Clicksor and Yahoo Publisher Network. Adbrite, a customizable e-commerce site, is considered "The Internet's Ad Marketplace," and enables the publisher to not only control their own ad rates, but also to approve or reject every ad for their website. AllFeeds features the highest and best pay-per-click listings from thousands of advertisers, multiple display formats (text links, banners, buttons, search boxes, etc.), real-time reporting, customization and even an integration with Google AdSense. BidVertiser allows the publisher to display text ads on their site
with advertisers bidding against each other, and they display the highest bidders for maximum revenue-earning potential.
Chitika, an impulse product merchandising service and comparative shopping engine, features interactive eMiniMalls. Clicksor boasts higher payouts per click along with a larger range of advertisers, supporting feeds from more than one advertising provider and the chance to earn more by either displaying relevant banners or underlining a section of clickable text on their websites. Yahoo! Publisher Network is a newer model and allows the publisher to not only display relevant ads and earn from each click, but also to integrate other features and programs of Yahoo! on their site, such as Y!Q and Add to My Yahoo! (RSS). Other pay-per-click advertising alternatives to Google AdSense growing in popularity include Affiliate Sensor, BidClix, ClixGalore, Fastclick, Kanoodle, Nixxie, Revenue Pilot, Searchfeed, TargetPoint and Vibrant Media SmartAd.
However, pay-per-click, content-based advertising programs are not the only ways for web publishers to generate online income. Affiliate marketing works great as well, using affiliate programs such as Commission Junction, Clickbank, Amazon and Linkshare. Affiliate marketing involves an affiliate promoting the services or products of a merchant on their site and is rewarded for every visitor, registrant, subscriber or customer that comes through them on a pay-per-click, pay-per-lead or pay-per-sale basis. Other alternatives to Google AdSense include networking opportunities, merchandising, RSS advertising, donations and sponsorships.
There is a plethora of alternatives to Google AdSense for publishers to choose from. A common piece of advice presented to amateur web publishers is to include more than one type of revenue-generating program on their site to unleash greater income-earning potential, for security, protection and for backup in case Google AdSense suddenly decides to close down their account.

Easy Way To Get Quality Contents for your Google Adsense Site
A baut my, Monday, April 13, 2009Google Adsense is a wonderful way to increase your earnings on the Internet. The concept of Google Adsense is based on keywords of your website, which alert Google which ads to place there. One of the best ways to have keywords on your website is with keyword-rich articles.
However, in order to have a good return with Google Adsense, you need to have quality content on your website that is keyword rich and makes sense. There are many places you can get free content that is SEO savvy, however, they are often jumbled words together that do not make sense as an article.
There are businesses on the Internet that you can get quality, SEO-savvy, original content articles for a very good price. In these cases, you hire a website to get their authors to produce original content specifically for your needs. There is clearly no better way than having 100% unique content for your website that is keyword optimized so you can make money with your Google Adsense website.
Many businesses out there offer these services and a plethora of authors who are willing to create this unique content for you. Once you commission work, authors write exactly what you are asking for as a ghostwriter-which means their names are not on the article you have purchased. Essentially, you are the writer
of the article and maintain all copyright rights to your purchased content.
Where Are You Going To Get Quality Content?
Where are these websites and how can you tell that you are going to get quality work from them? The answer is, go for the bigger sites that have proven themselves as having good authors that produce quality content. Some of the biggest sites are
- Elance (http://www.elance.com)
- ezines articles (http://www.ezinearticles.com)
- goarticles (http://www.goarticles.com)
- article authors.net (http://www.articleauthors.net)
- constant-content (http://www.constant-content.com)
These businesses have hundreds of writers who are willing to write SEO keyword optimized, original content articles for your website at a minimal cost-especially when compared to the influx of cash you will make from your Google Adsense website from having quality content on your website.
Google Adsense picks up on keywords on your website-and the better the keywords, the more traffic you will generate to, and out of, your website. The key to Google Adsense is having good quality content with popular keywords to drive good ads to your website that visitors will want to click on. The better quality your articles, the better quality your ads, which equals more volume of click throughs on the Google Adsense ads posted on your website.

Private Label Rights (PLR) Articles for your Adsense Site
A baut my, Sunday, April 12, 2009PLR articles are private label rights articles and are a very useful way to add search engine friendly content to your website. If you are building a large Google Adsense website to make some money, then you need many articles that are search engine optimized with keywords. It is very lengthy and monotonous to try to write these articles yourself. In addition, the more articles you have that are optimized, the better results you will have from your Adsense website.
There are businesses such as elance that you can hire a writer to specifically write your articles for you, but that too can take time and is not necessarily as easy as it sounds. Is there another practical way to obtain quality content without hiring a writer?
A Practical Way to Obtain Quality Content
Yes, there are websites that provide well-written articles that have been properly researched and are sold as private label rights articles. These websites are membership sites and can enable you to obtain hundreds of PLR articles for a very reasonable price-in some cases as low as 15 cents each. It is a better option than getting 'free' articles, which are likely posted on thousands of websites across the Internet, and are not unique to your website at all.
If obtaining PLR articles is the way you want to go, one of the keys to using this content is to rewrite them. In the long run, this is going to afford you the best results. You will want to fine-tune the articles
with keywords to help the search engines find your website. PLR articles are not written with keyword density in mind, but it is easy enough to change them to be SEO keyword optimized.
By rewriting and tweaking the articles, it will mean that the articles are now exceptionally unique to your website. You can add the keywords that you want to concentrate on and give it your personality and even change the tone of the article.
You can take a simple approach and leave the article intact, writing only an introduction and conclusion-but this does not give you keyword savvy, quality or unique articles for your Google Adsense website. You can also use RSS feeds to add content to your pages, but again, this does not afford you unique or quality SEO articles. The more unique and keyword savvy your website articles are-the better results you will have long term.
It sounds like a lot of work to rewrite an article, but it is much easier to rework an already produced article than it is to write one from scratch. You can rewrite some, or the entire article, simply using it as inspiration for your own unique article.
Whichever method you choose to create content for your website using PLR articles, you will likely be quite pleased with the outcome. There are many PLR article membership websites, and many of the best ones are sold out, but you can put your name down on a waiting list. There are a variety of websites which are still taking members-search for this service today and you will be well on your way to increasing your Google Adsense in no time.

Make Money With Your Blog: The Clean And The Dirty Methods
A baut my, Saturday, April 11, 2009Making money with your blog is not a hard process. However, there are MANY different paths that you can take in creating your new income stream. You can make a blog to promote affiliate products, a blog to promote solely the Google Adsense program, or you can ever create blogs to promote your own websites.
If you are going to use blogs to make money with affiliate programs, I suggest you find the main keyword subject of your blog, and type it into google like this:
"affiliate program" keyword
This will help you find affiliate products to promote on your blog. Once you find an affiliate program that you would like to promote you can gather the linking codes and add them to your blog's template. You can also use Clickbank.com to help find affiliate products to promote. Clickbank pays you twice a month which is great, because you get the money you made from your blog really fast. Just go to clickbank.com and click "Promote Products" and enter your search terms in the top-left corner.
If you are going to use Adsense to monetize your blog then I suggest that you get some articles ghostwritten for you. Ghostwriting means getting someone else to write the articles for you, so you don't have to do anything. I am currently paying $8 for a 600-700 word article, so base the prices you pay from that. There are a few sites that you can get ghost writers from, here are 3:
Scriptlance.com
Rentacoder.com
Getafreelancer.com
Remember though, if you find someone willing to work for just a few dollars an article, the quality may be very poor. I suggest you do NOT use people from India when getting articles ghost written, as English isn't their native language. Make sure you also get a sample article from the ghost writer before you select them for your project. You need to make sure they have good writing ability and that you like their style of writing.
Now that you've gotten your articles, all you have to do is put your Adsense code on your blog template, and post an article every day or every other day. After you are done posting make sure you 'ping' your blog (bring spiders to distribute the content),
this will make sure that you will have some traffic coming to your blog!
Now, if you want to just use your blogs to promote your own websites in the search engines, then I suggest you only use Blogger.com blogs. These blogs have a "weight" to them because they are a subdomain on Blogspot.com, which is PageRank 10. These blogs can get your websites indexed in as little as 2 days!
You need to be creating 5 new blogs per day per website that you are trying to get indexed with Blogger because they will delete blogs. This is not uncommon and it even happens to people that have personal blogs not promoting anything. However, this is not a reason to avoid them - you are the one who will be losing out on the fast search engine indexing.
For Blogger.com, I suggest that you create blogs with the following settings:
- Change the blogger template from NOINDEX/NOFOLLOW to INDEX/FOLLOW: This tells the search engine spiders to INDEX the blog and FOLLOW the links on the page.
- Remove the blogger bar at the top of every blog you create: To do this you must edit the template, and replace the body html tag with this code:
noembed tag, body tag, close no embed tag.
- Notify Weblogs.com
- Show 1 Day of Posts on the Front Page
- Archive Posts Daily
- Non-Public Blogger Blog (Unless you are adding Adsense to the blog) - this way no one can find your blog from the Blogger.com web site, you only want the search engine spiders to find it from pinging.
If you go as fast as you can you can create about one blog every 5 minutes. If you don't want to do this whole process you can try using BloggerGenerator.
Now that you have your blogs created you have to post links to your websites. Post them in normal link format, from 10-100 links each post. After each post make sure that you ping your blog at Pingomatic.com or Pingoat.com. Post to these blogs twice daily or at least every day until Blogger has removed them. If you get lucky your blogs won't even get removed and perhaps even get PageRank on the next update!
Making money with your blog is not challenging at all as you can see. If you start right now you could begin to see profits by as early as tomorrow morning. Make sure you use this information and not let it sit in the back of your mind!

What Is Google Adsense Program?
A baut my, Friday, April 10, 2009You may not know what Google Adsense Program is but you've probably heard it before. Google Adsense program is one of the hottest ways to make passive income for people with all types of websites. The Google Adsense program consists of Google Adsense for content and Google Adsense for Search.
Google Adsense content is an easy way for website owner to make money by displaying Googles Adsense ads on the content pages of their websites. Google Adsense will deliver ads that are most related to your site content. Google Adsense for Search provides Google search capability to your website. The Adsense Ads will be displayed in the search results pages.
How do You Make Money with Google Adsense?
As mentioned, Google will deliver the Adsense ads that are best match the content of your web page. Every time a user clicks on a Google Adsense ad, Google will pay you. Google will share a portion of the profit it gets from its advertisers with you. Since Google provides you the ads, you no longer have to worry about dealing with your advertisers. It is so easy to set up an Adsense Account and start making money with Adsense. Everyone should give it a try.
How Do You Get
Started?
Before you apply for a Google Adsense account, you should have your own website ready. If your site is still under construction or it is not ready, your application will be rejected. You can resubmit your application once your site is ready and Google will review your application. It takes a day or two for Google Adsense team to approve a new Adsense application. Read this before you apply for your Google Adsense account.
Once your application is approved, it takes only minutes to set up the Google Adsense Ad on your website. All you have to do is cut and paste a designated block of HTML code into the source code for your site. Once you've done that, you will start seeing Adsense Ads on your site.
A Piece of Advice
Please read the terms and conditions of Google Adsense program carefully because if you're caught violating these terms and conditions, you will be banned for life. You should never ever try to manipulate your adsense income by clicking on Google Adsense ads on your website or ask someone to click on the Adsense ads intentionally. Google Adsense is intelligent enough to know the click fraud and they will terminate your Adsense account immediately. It is almost impossible to make an appeal to Google without a good and valid reason.

The Best Kept Secrets To Running An Online Business
A baut my, Thursday, April 9, 2009Would you like to make money even when you don't go to work? The secret is to have your work continue to pay you even when you stop. A machine that once started continues to operate even when you aren't there. It's called residual income, and you can make it too.
Residual income means that once you have set the wheels in motion you can continue to collect money - possibly forever! Who wouldn't want to have a business that puts money in your pocket day or night, whether you are working or not?
Is residual income only a dream? For many enterprising individuals it is not just a dream - it's a reality. The concept is simple - Do the hard work first and collect on it indefinitely. By understanding the business models that this principle applies to you can also start making residual income.
CREATE A PRODUCT FOR OTHERS TO SELL
Writing a book tops the list for one of the most popular methods of creating residual income, but you can also create other products such as software programs or even a physical product. The key is that you want the business as automated as possible so that once you've set it up you don't have to continue working as hard.
How does it work? Traditionally if you write a book you sign with a publishing company for royalties or sell your book yourself. The hardest work is creating the book. However, once the book was finished you can continue collecting profits on every sale.
The same is true if you choose to sell a product that is made and delivered by another company - often called drop shipping.
By creating a sales page on the internet that will appeal to your audience you can continue to collect profits on the sales of your product or book without having to do the work each time.
If you have a special knowledge about a particular topic, or if you are skilled at research and writing, you can likely find a topic worth writing about. If you need to sell with little overhead you can even write a book in PDF format that can be downloaded rather than traditionally printed and shipped to the buyer.
If you choose drop shipping of a physical product, find something you can create an interesting website around. Share lots of information with the prospective buyer and create a professional sales page. With the proper combination of marketing skills and interested customers you can create a system that works even when you don't!
REFERRAL AND TIERED AFFILIATE PROGRAMS
Many online business use affiliate programs as an easy way to create a sales force. If you are good at promoting a program or product to others you may find that you can generate profits from a second tier sales force that you recruit.
This form of residual income is also common in other businesses including selling makeup, natural cleaners and insurance products. Whatever your passion there is likely a business that will appeal to you.
Once you've created a sales force you can start collecting a percentage of their sales. With hard work and dedication you may be able to rest from your efforts while your team continues to work for you. Creating your own book or product AND recruiting a profitable sales force combine for the ideal business model for making residual income!

The Adsense Site Blue Print
A baut my, Wednesday, April 8, 2009A good money making Adsense site needs a number of elements in place before it will succeed.
In the article below I discuss technical assets and techniques you should be using. You should also consider the site design, but that's a whole other article.
I've broken down the basics below -
1: Regular Content Updates
Ideally you are adding fresh, unique, keyword targeted content to you site on a regular basis. Every few days at a minimum, daily if possible.
The search engines will come back to your site more often, rank it higher and in turn provide more traffic if you consistently add fresh unique content.
A naturally growing site gets the search engines interested and keeps them interested.
If you don't like to write or can't write then you can outsource this chore to a third party.
On the other hand you can also use freely available articles from the numerous article directories out there. This is not ideal because the content is not unique and will most likely be found on hundreds of other sites.
Another option is to use 'Private Label Rights' articles. These are articles that you buy and use as starting point for your own unique article. Essentially you re-write the PLR article. Don't be tempted to use these as is, otherwise you may as well use the article directories as your article source instead.
Which ever route you choose you should start with a good number of pages on which to build.
You need to place your Adsense directly into the body copy of each of your articles for the highest CTR (Click Through Rate).
2: Rotate Your Content
It's fine consistently adding new content but if your homepage stays the same you're seriously missing out.
You should endeavour to have content rotate on a daily basis on your homepage. This gives the impression of a site update. You can do this by hand or you can have a script on your site rotate content. I know which I would choose. :)
In fact I have a script that chooses a random article from the hundreds on my site and posts it automatically to my homepage for 24hrs before selecting a new article and doing the same again for the next 24hrs.
/> In essence to both visitors and the search engines my site is updated daily. :)
3: RSS Feeds
To further make you site appear to update regularly you should introduce a relevant RSS feed. I won't go into the details of exactly what RSS is here. If you're not sure do a Google. :)
Basically you will get fresh relevant links appearing on your site at regular intervals.
There are numerous site scripts available now to allow you to show RSS feeds on your site. When you choose one make sure it is either PHP, CGI or ASP. Don't use javascript!
The reason for this is that the above mentioned languages will display the RSS feeds as HTML which the search engines read as content.
Javascript will be ignored! It does not convert the feed to a search engine friendly format which the above languages will do.
If you are interested in a free RSS feed converter for your site email me at the site below.
4: Place Your Adsense Ads
You must place your Adsense ads within the body of your article. It's a proven fact that the area to the top right of the content receives the highest CTR.
Beyond the body copy the next two hotspots are across the top of the page and down the left hand side. The two areas that Net users naturally look to for a sites navigation.
5: Place Your Ad Links Ads
The Google Ad Links ads have been found to work best when placed either above or below the site navigation, again either across the top or down the left hand side.
A further boost can be had by 'blending' the look of the ads with your site navigation. By that I simply mean having your navigation match the ads in both font type, size and colour.
Many Adsense publishers have experienced a large boost in revenue after blending all there navigation to match their ads.
6: A Site Map
This is very important. Without a good site map to which you can add your newly uploaded content the search engines will never know you are updating your site. They'll never be able to find the new content without a link going to it.
Be sure not to forget to update your site map each time you add new site content.
There you have it. That's a general overview of a working Adsense site. Of course I haven't the space to go in to much detail but I hope you found what I have revealed of use. ;)

Making Money Out Of Your Traffic
A baut my, Tuesday, April 7, 2009There are so many ways to monetize your traffic. All it takes is a little work, a little knowhow, and the desire to successfully launch a profit-earning site. The internet is a huge source of information, with tips and guides available that will show how to monetize your traffic and make your site a good profit earner.
For instance, when purchases are made from a merchant by customers that you send to their sales page, you can get a percentage of that sale by joining the merchant's affiliate program. That enables you to monetize your traffic without needing to carry a product or process the transaction. The merchant attends to such matters.
It is generally understood that without traffic we have no business. Like any business, without any customers you don't get sales. By focusing on traffic building techniques and promotions you develop a flow of prospective customers. Then it becomes a matter of offering opportunities to your visitors to convert that traffic into some form of financial return.
With a consistent flow of traffic, you at least have a fighting chance to achieve that end. Monetizing your traffic will optimize your chances of building revenue and making a profit.
The internet has proven to be a very reliable source for the information, product or service that meets your need. It has made the world a smaller place. You can advertise a product from the suburbs of Istanbul and find a buyer in the center of Philadelphia. The global market has become little more than a village.
Of course, generating traffic is not an easy task. You have to contend with a lot of competition and also have to demonstrate a fair amount of competence if you want to attract your fair share of traffic flow. But if you do it successfully this can open up many possibilities, one being the chance to monetize your traffic flow.
Affiliate Programs
One method of monetizing your traffic involves registering as an affiliate for selected programs. You can link up with respected online merchants and monetize your traffic by having a percentage of their sales generated by traffic coming from your site.
The basic idea is to divert traffic from your site to another site
that offers a sales page for a product that you do not carry. The affiliate management program, such as Clickbank, will keep track of visitors and transactions that originated from your site.
Establishing your own e-commerce site is not as easy as it used to be. There are thousands of eager marketers offering competition, all hoping to get a bigger share of the pie. Every method you can find to refine your sales (or pre-sales) technique should be considered.
Most of us hope to make a profit. We try not to spend time and effort just for the fun of it. While there are some who will treat their online activies as a hobby, there are also many who would like to see profit, as well as have fun!
Making Money Out Of Your Traffic
One of the best and most widely used methods of making a profit out of your traffic is onsite advertising. As there are many millions using the internet every day, if you can attract only hundreds, and possibly thousands, to your web pages where they will see your offering, you have a chance of converting them to customers or "click through" prospects. Google has an advertisng program called Adsense which will pay you every time someone clicks on an ad they provide and visits the site of the advertiser. Yahoo has a similar program.
Likewise, ClickBank also provides advertising that can appear on your web site but, in this case, you only get paid if the visitor actually buys from the advertiser, not when they click on your ad. Needless to say, it's much easier to get interested visitors to click onto an ad for more information than it is to get them to purchase.
So, to get to the core of it, the more traffic you attract to an appealing, content-laden site the more likely you will be able to generate a profit from your website. Basically, traffic equals profit and advertising is the name of the game to convert that traffic into cash.
When you have a good traffic flow you also have a good number of potential customers; customers who can make your website a paying proposition. Some of this traffic can be directed to sponsored advertising links that are willing to pay you for sending them a portion of the traffic that you have generated. You will be paid for every click a visitor to your site makes on an advertisor's link. So, the more traffic you generate to click merrily onto sponsors' ads, the more profit you make.

Is Google Adsense The Easiest Money To Be Had?
A baut my, Monday, April 6, 2009With Google Adsense, there is an enormous opportunity to earn an income from your web pages. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking unfair advantage of this "easy money" process. If you think about it, some of the negative factors may force Google to introduce major changes. If that happens, people would have to return to the old ways of internet marketing; methods that are much harder for generating revenue online than Adsense.
For now, however, Google Adsense is with us. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future is looking good. Besides, with all the strict guidelines that Google has been enforcing with their Adsense affiliates, it would take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be so widely abused they would be terminated.
With so many people getting online and clicking away everyday, it's no wonder Google Adsense has become an instant hit.
Those who are new to this market might feel a little irked knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people's services. But when they realize that they are actually earning more money that way, doubts and skepticism are laid to rest.
Some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together at least two major, and clever, factors to make money easier using Adsense.
1. They place Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. For instance, by placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the number of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.
2. They target high traffic pages on the website. If you check your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors use the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. This is an opportunity. In simple words, your ads can be presented on these pages where they'll work effectively by generating more clicks. This means income for
you.
When working effectively, these factors are actually a good source of producing revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra cash with Adsense. It is also especially rewarding for informational sites with a lot of content that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free material to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.
With so many people trying to make easy money with Adsense, it isn't surprising that Google is trying to update and polish their Adsense procedures and try to maintain a good image.
So there is a possibility of adding a 2nd affiliate tier in Adsense. With so many people involved in in Adsense now, and still more entering this line of marketing, there is no doubt many improvements will emerge. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if they can sign up sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning!
One particularly handy money-making feature that is already available with Adsense is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. This gives webmasters the option of blocking low paying advertising and competitors from their pages. Naturally, webmasters will keep elements that are advantageous and discard those that seem less attractive.
Recently, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be had and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense is beginning to dominate internet marketing and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.
The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits. Marketers are refining their strategies to enable them to receive higher paying advertising on their active web pages.

Make Money with Adsense The Basics
A baut my, Sunday, April 5, 2009Adsense is probably one of the quickest and most powerful roots to website profits with the easy implementation of a simple snippet of code. If used properly it can generate a great passive income for any site. But that's the crux if you're not placing the right Adsense code in the right style and in the right position on your pages then you're actually loosing money.
Apart from the ease of implementation the results you can achieve are fast and they can also be surprising and exciting.
The first thing to do when considering Adsense is to research your keywords. Research your market if you're adding Adsense to an existing site or explore niche markets if this is a new site. Examine keywords and keyphrases from the market that get the most searches on the search engines. There are a number of sites and software tools that will allow you to do this some of them even giving you the click costs, essentially how much you will make per click on an ad.
Select say 10 keywords or keyphrases and then consider your site content or for best results create new content. Unique and keyword rich articles related to your site theme work well. Use your 10 keywords to choose an article theme and then create an article for each keyword. Aim to have around 3% keyword density for each article. Keyword density is the number of times your keyword appears in relation to the number of over all words in the article.
Be sure to make your article informative and grammatically correct. Badly written articles, focused on SEO only, will do you no favours and often turn visitors away and maybe pop up on the search engine radar, which could mean a slip in your site rankings. Think long term here. There is no reason that, once set up, your Adsense site wouldn't continue to bring in a passive growing income for years to come.
Once you have your articles build your site.
Now before you insert the ad code you should consider two things, the styling of the ads and the positioning. The styling is possibly the most important. A badly styled
ad in the perfect position on your page will get a poorer click through rate than a well-styled ad in the same position.
The best click through rates, when it comes to styling, have been proven to come from removing the ad borders and setting the background colour to match your page background colour. Essentially blending the ads into the page and getting them to look like part of the page content. You should also have the colour of the links on your page match those of the ads.
Next consider the positioning of your ads. Place your ads where site visitors are most likely to click on them. Research shows that the top left of the page is the first spot to draw the eye and in turn get the most clicks. The new format 'Ad Links' work well here. The other hotspot is directly within the body of your content. The square formatted ads at the top right of your body copy work best here.
The correct styling and positioning of your ads is crucial for better click throughs and higher payouts.
You will get clicks on your ads almost no matter where you place them if you have enough site traffic. But styling and positioning them properly from the start can triple or more your click through rates.
Adsense has good tracking statistics that allow publishers to track their results across a number of sites on a site-by-site, page-by-page basis. You should make the most of this facility to learn which ads are performing the best and fine-tune them accordingly to improve your results.
Finally, you have the option to use image ads instead of text only. But, the average Net user is sophisticated enough now to ignore image based ads. They're now almost universally blocked subconciously by Net users as advertising. Stick to text ads only. Be sure this is set in your account you can do this in 'My Account'.
To really start making money with Adsense, you should have a definite focus on what you want to achieve and how you will go about achieving it. Set income goals day by day and work to increase your income by tweaking your pages and adding more keyword targeted content.
Consitently improving your site and introducing new content will see your Adsense profits grow.
